Pretty cheap switch. Although not as good as the amex deal, good for those that dont have an amex card. Mario Odyssey bundle also 20% off at $464 delivered (was $449 but they changed price after I posted!)

  • its $448.76 after the prezzy discount … 399 for normal switch … 448 for the mario switch… cheaper with amex still though.

    • edit didnt realise you edited

The Mario switch is a good deal for those without AMEX. The AMEX deal only works out $20 cheaper so you're not missing much if you go with that.

    • +2

      $50.16 cheaper actually.

  • +7

    Lmao.

Price jacked on the Mario bundle from $560 to $581 as I was about to check out.

    • +3

Same. Decided not to order once I seen that. Was just after finishing sorting an issue with eBay live chat then seen it price Jack infront of me.

      • +7

Me neither. Can’t do it on principle.

      • surely that wasn't a guy manually doing it? It was eBay right? If it was some guy at the gamesmen i would definitely boycott it

        • +1

No idea but it was $560.95 since I first looked yesterday. It was still $560.95 after 10am.

        • +1

Was $560.95 last night when I added to cart.

Pretty sure it was manual. They only realised the 'low' price @11am & jacked it up to make less of a loss.

    • Yeah. I put it in the cart last night and saw the 'the seller has revised the listing' this morning. Cheeky.

Still, at $461 it's still cheaper than the regular price elsewhere.

  • I'm so tempted..I wanted to buy the switch as a Christmas+Birthday present for myself.

  • do they include a tax receipt for TRS purposes? Thanks

    • Yes. I think they do

  • Why is it $465.56 after prezzy discount now for Mario Odyssey bundle?

    • +5

Because they raised the regular price by $20

      • when in the last hour?

        • lol someone down voted this comment

      • -4

That's alright other forum members explained it a little better Mr. Personality

        • +5

What's with the attitude? I don't see where he was being rude?

        • -6

@montorola: well obviously the price was raised by $20, I was asking why/how, you know more complicated questions

        • -1

@defmay: i'm not allowed to down vote my own comment, the meditation begins

  • Also ebay is offering a 2 year warranty… i thought Nintendo had a lifetime warranty… at least they did in the SNES days

  • Is there any chance Harvey Norman would price match this? Has anyone tried?

    • -1

      No

    • +1

No harm trying through their online chat. Report back with findings.

      • +5

OH THERE'S HARM, THERE'S GREAT HARM

        • Gerry Harvey might expose you on ACA for being a bludger.

Can you hack this thing for free games yet?

  • Thanks OP, finally got a Switch. I don't think Nintendo are going to drop the price of this console any time soon so it's the perfect time to buy!

    • I'm opting with the HN deal as I have a family member with an AmEx card. But will not purchase until Black Friday/ Xmas deals are announced as that offer ends 31 December 2017.

  • Oh nooo.. I think that i snapped clicked buy this time.. Is the mario bundle good?

    • whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?

    • Def not a purchase you would regret!

  • Anyone else not yet had their item sent? Paid for express postage and pretty peeved that 48 hours later they haven't even dispatched the item. Tried to contact on ebay but haven't gotten a response.

    • Same here, Mario Bundle and no response either.

    • +1

They have a physical address, so have you tried contacting them on the phone?

      • +2

Tried calling them. They have said due to the influx or orders that they haven't been able to send them all out. They are going in order of order time. I ordered at around 1pm QLD time and they think they'll send out sometime tomorrow… Annoyed…

        • I would be too if I paid for express!

        • @Qmar:
I bought the console + splatoon bundle at around 12pm on Tuesday.
Was shipped yesterday and set to be delivered (MELB) tomorrow.
I didn't buy express shipping, just lucky I guess!

        • @garbrain:

Did you get the Neon or Grey?

    • @Crosscade @warau7

Have your bundles been sent yet? I purchased the Mario bundle on the 7th with regular postage, still hasn't been sent.

      • I purchased the Zelda bundle with standard postage on the 7th also and they sent it out last Friday. Try giving them a call to see what's up.

      • Hey Uni, Mine was 'sent' on Friday, but still seems to be in the CHULLORA NSW sorting centre.

I got an email on Friday afternoon about 2:40pm from Gamesmen say "We've just packed your order, it will be collected by Australia Post shortly." and then an ebay email confirming that the item has been shipped at about 4:15pm.

Item was Processed through Australia Post facility at 07:47pm Fri 10 Nov and I haven't had an update yet. Looks like it might have been too late for next day delivery via express post… sigh…

Tomorrow should be the day for me I am hoping.

Edit: I got the Splatoon 2 Grey Bundle

      • Just rang them up. The person on the phone confirmed that my order was paid and fine on eBay's end but not on their IT system.

They're passing it on to their IT department to sort out, hopefully I'll hear back soon. :(

    • aaaaand they're out again :/

  • This should be marked as OUT OF STOCK I think, it's been out of stock for ages (10 hours plus). Last buy was something like 3/4pm yesterday according to ebay.

    • keeping an eye on them for when they do have stock, though don't know if it'll be in time (17th the coupon ends)

      • Yeah it's in stock again! Went Grey/Mario Odyssey $439.16, no looking back. So pleased because I missed out using PWNED24 which was only 10% off, had the console bundle for $467.10, so $28 saved there (no red joycons, but physical game). I think it's a nat better than the Zelda game combo as that's been around for a while so should be reasonably easy to pick up.

  • So got my grey switch from gamesmen in the sale. Unfortunately, less than 24 hours after getting it, I'm taking an hour each way trip to Penshurst this morning for an exchange. Hopefully they have some units at the store. The switch has 4 stuck pixels in the centre of the screen. They are a sky blue colour and really stand out in darker scenes. Weirdly, they're in the shape of the southern cross. Maybe I got some limited addition Aussie version. Kinda sucks. Was hoping to play Mario all morning. I have only ever had to return Nintendo hardware out of all my gaming stuff so go figure

    • Sucks bro. Sorry to hear

      • Looking at reviews on their Facebook page they seem to value their customers so I think they'll be alright about a swap.

My first ever handheld was an Atari Lynx which I bought from their store in Penrith in the early nineties. It came with a copy of Gates of Zendocon. This is a bit of a nostalgic rush for me. Shame Nintendo let down their end of the bargain.

    • They were great about it and didn't hesitate to offer me a replacement console. Unfortunately they got slammed in the eBay sale and they've had to order some more. They're going to ship me out a replacement when stock arrives.

  • My quest to get a replacement switch is proving to be a major pain in the butt. They have got them in stock at their warehouse but not in store. They said to ring them today around 5:30 to check they had a delivery at the store of consoles. Did that. Don't have em yet. Probably have em tomorrow. Will have to call again and check they have them. Will have to ask them to put one aside with my name on it for collection. I don't think I've ever had to work so hard for a replacement product like this before. My big fear is I'll ring them and they have them, ask them to put one aside, spend an hour on the train, get there and they can't find it or they've shipped them all or sold them all in the store. How hard does it have to be? I'm getting sick of "checking in"

  • Anyone had any luck at price matching at EB Games or somewhere else with this offer?

    • Harvey Norman told me they dont pricematch these guys
