Actually seems quite good, watched a review by a guy called AndyRC and he's very impressed.

Have one no regrets nice clear picture and video.
Haven't flown it past 500m though due to regulations can go further a few videos out there where they gone up to 4ks with a few modifications on it battery last around 24min to 20min
Depending on how you use it have a back pack for it where i just disassemble it and fits straight in to put it together and apart takes around 2min.

      • Thanks for sharing. What kind of backpack is it? Just a normal one or a hobby-specific type?

Was hesitant but you certainly get value for money here!

Bought mine from gearbest from a previous deal about 2 weeks back. Flown it 4 times now and the only issue I've had is the gimbal can be a little off level.

Here is 4k footage without any colour coding. Friends kept asking to see it so I decided to put a quick clip up. Here it is if your interested - https://youtu.be/SUhpfN14QDc

Taken it 500m distance with no issues both with the controls and live video feed.

      • Awesome vid mate. Thanks for sharing!

  • Very tempting, but holding back because gb isn't an authorised dealer. Xiaomi won't honour the warranty because of that.

    • Do you know of anyone who had their warranty dishonoured thusly?

My gimbal stopped calibrating before I even had the chance to fly it. Sent gearbest messages about 3 weeks ago, and getting them to refund it was incredibly annoying. Expect a whole buisiness day to recieve a reply. My battery was also ridiculously hard to remove from the quad, and the firmware update would not complete no matter how many times I tried.
Good price for a drone with 4k, but take into consideration the level of risk that comes from buying something expensive from gearbest, and the quality of the quad. My specific one could have been a one off faulty product, but if I were to buy again I would just go with DJI for its quality and service.

    • Join the growing annoying club from Gearbest support. I would have bought this drone if I have not been so disappointed with them not being able to keep their words.

"Expect a whole buisiness day to recieve a reply."
One business day is better than most businesses I've dealt with in Australia…

      • Sometimes 2-3 days before a reply. Also claim to refund me within 24hr but it has now been 9 days and still counting.

      • When I had a warranty claim with Dyson Australia it took way longer to get a response. In a few instances even a week

      • True, but they only sent me one reply a day and the messages were generally useless and confusing. Frustrating trying to communicate with them

    • Needs an SD card in the camera to update firmware

  • Found a way to justify buying this, logged on to get it, but the code is now expired :(
Took too long to pull the trigger unless Gearbest can extend the coupon?

    • See what happens when you go against the Ozbargain principle?

Always buy first. Buyer's remorse comes second.

Leverage one of the cash back sites to get another couple of bucks off

        • At least you know how low the price can go. Never hurts to ask OzB's GearBest rep nicely if they can sell you one at this price.
