  • when?

    • +1

Probably in about 7 minutes time, Click Frenzy starts then, must have just been posted early.

      • thanks.

btw how does click frenzy work? it's been posted for a number of years now, but we've never had the time to participate in one.

        • It's just like 2 days a year where they host massive sales, similar to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, more retailers seem to be added everytime. I think it's to increase everyone's traffic to their sites/boost sales.

        • +32

          It’s OzBargain Day for non-OzBargainers.

        • +14

          @doweyy:

It's just like Black Friday and Cyber Monday just without the good accessible deals.

        • @bxpressiv:
Laughed my ass off this morning when this muppet from click frenzy was letting everyone know there would be $20 50" tv's and $10 google home's .

  • +2

    You’re on fire doweyy…good work!

  • WHERE IS THE $10 TV

    • There never was a $10 tv to begin with…

      • What really?!

        • they're apparently selling it but your chances of getting it are very slim. You gotta sign up to to click frezy with your email and they'll send you an email when the TV is available i think?

        • @Mr Shooty:
          Now I want a $10 TV! :(

        • @LivinginEastwood:

Pretty sure a lot of people waste a lot of time trying .

      • According to ACA, there is a $2 Fitbit as well.

      • +1

        It came on TV

    • I heard it was a $10 DJI Spark for $10 …. zzzzz.

    • +2

Why the downvotes? Websites were claiming there's $10 TVs as dh16 is asking.

      • +1

yes i saw that too.. Also There was $200 Myer gift card for $20

        • +1

Must have had 1 of each, as usual. Just bs marketing to get the crowds coming.

    • Essentially there is a small number available to get people through the doors. However regular people have no chance because tech savvy people have set up bots to spam the site until it opens and then proceed to checkout before you can even click on the purchase button.

      • Scripts and bots set schedule to fire off you got no chance

      • They set it so you needed to get a code from an image to get the discount and click through a banner which was not a normal listing. Could the bots do that?

        • Maybe, but I guess even if they couldn't the script writer could set it up so they can physically look at the picture and type in the code.

        • @ilikeradiohead: if it was pssble, they weren't fast enough. I got one of the Myer gift cards

    • You can have my TV for $10 if you like. It only does black and white though.

      • +1

B&W hey, could probably sell it to a hipster for a decent markup.

    • +1

Did you try to get it? I went for a $200 Myer gift card for $2 instead and managed to get 1.

    eBay must be desperate…

  • They're here….

  • Spewin brah

  • Thanks doweyy!

    • +1

Looks like he had 6 Amex cards.

    • +1

Bought this, came today. Looks like it was shipped from Kogan? they may be using an ebay alias for some reason… Tracking info was from dick smith and packaging had the Kogan logo all over it.

  • +2

For all other items that don't match the above codes and the PREZZY code, don't forget that P5OZZIE is still active (confirmed by myself 5 minutes ago)
    Code: P5OZZIE
Saving: 5% on ANY ebay purchase above $30

    • Yeah. The Switch for sub $400 ain't too bad at the moment. Couldn't see anything else that was very good though.

    • P5OZZIE save me on a purchase from ebay/Dicksmith/KoganHK recently

  • +5

    Not digging the minimum spends

  • Can you use these codes on auction wins or only buy it now?

    • Anything which falls under those categories :)

Really underwhelmed considering Amazon is rumoured to be opening this Friday. Holding out for a sitewide sale in response

    • +7

Keen to see what sort of prices Amazon will have. We need some good competition to counter the aussie tax.

      • With Amazon customer service and hopefully prime two day shipping the prices don't need to be much better for it to be a go to compared to what we have available now.

    • Seen more deals posted on OzB during an eBay 10% off site wide promotion….this is a joke.

    • +2

I read something similar in an article posted on OzBargain last week… but I am curious… how can Amazon be lauching in secret? Surely such a huge operation requires staff… and surely some staff member knows when they're going live? Is it meant to be a secret? Seems like either terrible or brilliant marketing!

      • +3

Think they run a pretty tight ship, and they have already announced they are opening really really soon

        • +6

Wasn't it really really really soon?

        • +2

          @bxpressiv:

          https://www.lifehacker.com.au/2017/11/amazons-australian-lau…

Here's an article from 2 hours ago, interpreting 'really, really soon' as potentially next week.

I guess it's very likely based on that report it will open this month at the very least. Interesting times ahead.

        • Apparently Jeff Bezos stocks the vending machine and cleans the toilets in his spare time ;)

  • Not sure if I'm reading it right but it appears there's no limit on uses?

    • wondering the same thing… spamming $100 liquor bottles would be nice.

      • Maxes out at 2 transactions for liquor… lame.

  • Is this store wide or is it on only certain stores like the recent deal? I couldn't see anything in your post aboit t&c?

  • Thanks bought a great cast iron plate $25 cheaper than anywhere else.

    • What about Motuo in Tibet? I heard they make really cheap cast iron plates for under $25.

      • Not quite sure, paid a bit more (probably for brand) for a Lodge reversible for my new grill but it looks extremely durable and I have seen great reviews.

  • Was hoping to get a JBL charge or UE Boom Bluetooth speaker but doesn’t look like they are in any of these categories:(

  • wait so if i sell a pc/computer part now, someone can use the code to get 10% off since it doesnt list vendors?

    • Yep that’s correct.

  • Will there be a 15% off?

    • +5

      When Amazon opens, yes.

  • Thanks, Got Catan and Ticket To Ride for around $50 each

  • Thanks, picked up a good deal on a costume for a work party….saved me $25

    • +3

  • Doesn't work. I tried using PLIERS24 for a microwave oven. trying to get his https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/122736842976

Went https://www.ozbargain.com.au/goto/342019 then clicked on microwave ovens on left side menue, selected this oven and went to checkout ,cannot apply the code.

    • Yeah looks like that is under "Home Appliances", not "Home & Garden"..You might have to contact ebay about it.
