I posted this the last time the deal was on, a decent saving on 12 months worth of Xbox Live.
You need to create a NZ Paypal account to pay but doesn't take too long to set everything up. Last time I bought the exchange rate was slightly worse so ended up paying $46 per year, this time around it's a few dollars cheaper.

Instructions from the previous deal;

To get the deal you need to:
- Google NZ hotels, pick a random hotel and use their address and phone number for all the billing address details below
- Create a New Zealand Paypal account
- Add a credit card which isn't on your normal Paypal account
- Go to the Microsoft store via the link and make the purchase
- Add the new Paypal address and again enter the NZ address
- The purchase should go through as "pending"

    Not that it isn’t cheaper than other deals around here but I feel like this is too much effort to save a few bucks. Kudos to those who get it done though !

      I do not recall seeing XBL Gold under $44 recently?

      Most deals seem to be around $55-60

      Other deal just posted is for $53 AUD each year you purchase. If you are stacking 2 years worth, buying through the NZ store will save you $20. Probably took me 10-15 mins to setup a NZ Paypal account so not to much hassle for me. A bargain is in the eyes of the beholder… :)

        Does it work with US purchase aswell. I wanted to buy FIFA 18 which is in special for 47$ in US store. But I couldnot pass through the purchase area.

          It is cheap on US store but look at upcoming Target gaming event if you want the standard version, quite cheap for local stock.

          @bindassever: fair enough, I don't know myself but does purchasing US version mean you need to purchase FUT points through US store, or will it work if you buy them from AU afterward?

    Once you have Xbox live gold, any special pricing from any other Microsoft world store is applied.

        Incorrect i got $1 subscription for a month and bought state of decay from store for 7.49 which was gold members pricing

    No you can buy any Xbox live gold cards as they stack. This deal and the one posted by spacejase is a discounted card which anyone can purchase regardless if you currently have Live or not.
    So you if buy another 12 months worth of gold, you'll have 13 months worth of the service.

        No worries! Yep as long as you have xbox live active, you will receive any discounts from all other Microsoft world stores.

    however, cost me NZ$47.97(but the bank show, 45.27 AUD) and also 1 AUD (do not know where it cost from, from PayPal ?)

    Total 46.27, still cheaper than other websites. maybe buy one more tonight. It is hard to see $35 12 months deal now

      I have been charged the same, I think I know why. Paypal did the concrete of the currency instead of leaving it to the card provider and their rate is really bad

      Yep if you have a NZD xbox gift card you cad add the funds to your account and make the purchase that way.

    just tried to create a nz paypal account but paypal then wanted my id card no or nz drivers licence.
