I think my work should give JV a job proof reading documents. He would find every little nuance to fix.

      • +4

jv would be a pain in ass hire!

    • +2

Have you tried it? It might be yummy!

Have you tried it? It might be yummy!

As much as I like jv I'll stick to pringles.

Did you guys realise Pringles chips had become smaller?

    • +7

That's because they are now made in Malaysia.

Lots of Malaysian things are smaller.

      • +1

Including Malaysian hands, I can't even get more than 3 fingers in the can anymore..

    • +2

And not just the can, the chips themselves have shrunk. :I

      • +1

        Along with the flavour IMO

    • +1

      Are you thinking of these?

    • +3

That's because they are a smaller pack?

Haha but nah everything's getting smaller, why target Pringles?

      • +4

Because I was eating it when I posted the comment

  • +1

I was gonna make a post for "Pacific Organics Virgin Coconut Oil 700ml" no need any more

OREO is MADE IN CHINA do I wouldn't touch it… use to love them. Can get a similar one from Aldi.

    • +1

      do they taste different?

      • +3

Tasted quite good.. they're copied version and Aldi is good at that but the good thing is they're either made here or Euro. Any Foods selling at Coles or Woolworths that Made from China I won't buy them even really cheap or for Free… Heard lots of bad stories regarding to foods MADE in China… that's why Chinese love Foods Made in Australia.

Loaded up on the Lurpak. At the rate butter is going up, it'll probably work out cheaper than buying the home brand stuff in the long run.

    • +3

Loaded up on the Lurpak. At the rate butter is going up

      It's only 64% butter… It's a margarine

      • +2

There's no margarine in the blocks, though.

        • +1

yep i only buy the blocks

    • +1

The cheapest supermarket 250g butter was 49c in 1999. Last week it was $2.90 and currently $2.80, 500g for $5.00. Yet you can still get 2L decent ice cream (Bulla or Blue Ribbon) for $5 and occasionally $4.

No link to my yopro deal? :(

    Thanks for the table Savas!

    • +2

      I'm sorry!

    • Mission accomplished. Thanks again.

  • +2

stocked up on the heinz ketchup ….. rarely 50% off "……… when coles had it at 50% off they pulled it before the end of the week ….. luckily had a rain check.

  • +2

Wow this is going to be a healthy week!

Pringles, Oreos and Freddo Frogs all half price!
Might also get some YoPro because I'm going through my discounted Passionfruit ones at an alarming rate…

    • +1

I knew you should've bought more than four!

      • +1

Yeah exactly!! I didn't want to look like a weirdo just taking a whole box of yoghurts when I'm with people though lol.
Nothing would've stopped me if I was by myself though haha!

  • +3

Really awesome list @Savas!! I just moved out of my parents home a few weeks ago and im looking to save every buck I can (then spend it on eneloops most likely). Jokes aside I have a question for you; how/ what tool or service did you use to determine the metadata for the products (namely 'last time this price')? Thanks in advance.

    • +4

I individually search each product on Price Hipster, unsure of anyway to run a script or anything.
