UPDATE 08/12/17 :

Just a quick update regarding capacities. The area we booked include both outdoor and indoor sections. We have reached the capacity for the indoor section. The outdoor section also has a large capacity, but it is prone to rain (which hopefully wont happen according to the weather forecast. Feel free to continue to RSVP, however any RSVPs after this comment are not guaranteed, and will be dependent upon the weather on the day. Thanks for your attention, and hope the current weather forecast is accurate. (Did I just jinx it?)

Hi all,

Thanks for all your suggestions and interest. I'm really excited to announce that it is ON with a date and venue locked in, and also contributions from Mobileciti, JW Computers and Wireless1 stores. This is gonna be big!

Date/Time: Tuesday 12th December 6:00pm
Location: P.J Gallagher's Irish Pub Parramatta (74 Church St, Parramatta NSW 2150)

    That's a 'maybe' from me, but that would depend on the date / time as well as venue :)

    I suggest a binary poll (Yes, I'm coming vs Not coming) so that you can gauge how many people are interested.

    edit also added preference for a friday night as well.

      I think it's a good idea to discuss the date and time in the next few days before setting it. I think dinner on a date in the 12th-14th range is a good starting point, thoughts?

    Definitely dinner instead of lunch for me, as most people work in the City.
    Location wise, even Strathfield or Olympic Park should be Ok too, which are part of Wetern Sydney.

    I'm not from the west but may come if times suit me - venuewise idk much but El Jannah/Hawas in Granville are close to public transport + cheap + pretty awesome (but that's just an out there suggestion)
