          And over 1.5 billion people live in the same time zone as Perth. The most out of any time zone in the world. So it might be true that Melb/Sydney is the time zone that matters in Australia but in a global scale it is not.

          Think the cheapest you could get is through Myer then at 6% off, they have it at RRP, if you're not a part of a e-gift card portal yet I'd recommend RACQ, they send cards pretty much instantaneously.

    For anyone thinking of ordering a harddrive from wireless1 BEWARE.

    Mate ordered WD 4TB reds from the last ebay deal and they sent it wrapped in a paper thin layer of bubble wrap in a auspost satchel. Their response is 'we always send it like this'

      Yeah the headphones I bought from them were faulty and they werent the most helpful with customer service. Easier to deal with sennheiser themselves.

      If it works, does it matter? If they had people complaining about faulty units by the bucket load; they'd change their practice. Obviously they don't so they continue.

      Powered off hard drives are a lot harder to destroy than people give them credit for.

      I bought a bare Toshiba drive off Amazon US a few years ago and it was just placed in a box, rattling around with only one single air bag in it - works fine and still does to this day (at a guess, 3 years old).

        I take a bare drive in a box vs a bare drive in a satchel any day. Most people won't complain when it dies after 2 years. They will either let it go or get warranty claim for the manufacturer. So the retailer walks off blame free.

      Price Jacking = raising prices before a sale. Instead of 'accusing', why not do some research. Use Google Cache from 2 weeks ago and you'll see this is JW's normal price. Why do you automatically assume 'jacking' with no evidence?

      That is currently the cheapest market price for that chip delivered. CPL have it for $239, but that's limited pickup places and shipping is $15 from what I can tell.

      Otherwise MSY have it for that price, but not delivered either. Research before you neg please.
