Hi all,

To celebrate Ozbargain's 11th Birthday, there will be a meetup for the Western Sydney Ozbargainers at Parramatta. It is gonna be big!

Date/Time: Tuesday 12th December 6:00pm
Location: P.J Gallagher's Irish Pub Parramatta (74 Church St, Parramatta NSW)
RSVP: Please comment on the Forum Thread indicating that you are going and also vote on the 'I am going' Poll option in the forum thread

  • Free food (Pizza and other finger foods)
  • 2 Free Drink Vouchers to first 100 to RSVP - Update 06/12 10am: 100 RSVPS already reached
  • Scotty will also bring some free Ozbargain t-shirts (first come, first serve)
  • Free 'Not a bot' Virtual Badge (A sheet will be at the event for you to write your username)
  • Other Freebies
  • All attendees will also be in raffles with a chance to to win

Like the Melbourne meetup, lets also get some games going (Catan, Cards Against Humanity, Exploding Kittens, etc), feel free to bring them and any other activities in.

          Hi,
          It is at a pub and alcohol may be present, and there will be a lot of people there, so I'm not sure it is kids friendly.

    Looking at the current number of people coming, I am afraid this deal might be ozbargained. I could only bring ~20-25 T-shirts though as I would be riding bus + train.

        Was interesting - but much smaller group (Less than 20 people) and happened at lunchtime so the time was rather limited. Biggest challenge is to find an area to house a group of people and the ability to let them talk to each other etc. PJ's in Parra has a reasonable courtyard from memory, so would be pretty good as long as it's not rainy.
        Overall really good.. Scotty super nice bringing the goodies and catching the bill etc. Good to put a face to a username really. This is also good too for reducing "anonymous" personalities in OZB and probably reduces some of the heated arguments when you can identify with people as they are instead of a username.
