    "Fresh Edition Earphones"
who will buy rotten edition earphone?

unless rotten apple - maybe people still buy at RRP

    • +1

      😳

    • Edit: Never mind.

  • +1

where do I enter the code? Not seeing an option for it.

    • +4

Click 'checkout' (not the Paypal button), and it's down the bottom (under the payment choice dropdown, where you can still use Paypal)

      • oh yeah, pretty obvious in fact :o thanks

        • It's not that obvious. I couldn't find it either

    • +1

Once added to the Cart - 'Proceed to checkout'

On this page scroll down, you will see 'Payment Method'
Within this section will be 'Apply Coupon Code'

  • +1

    Bought thanks

  • Can I use this on my Iphone 7+?

    • +1

With an adapter, you can. This uses 3.5mm plug

  • Are these durable?

    • +3

I've been using a pair almost every day for about 4-5 months. Even if they broke tomorrow I'd still be happy with their durability, given their price.

    • -1

Nope, they're shit. Worth about AU$5 imo, so this is still a good deal.

      • +1

They are actually quite a bit better than your average $5 earphones.

  • The coupon code "SDEAR3 " is valid! Your discount is AUD $ 3.45 (expiration date: 12/05/2017)… lol..

  • hey @MiniInTheBox, my transaction went through without a confirmation & without the "apply coupon" option appearing. Can you cancel it or apply the code retroactively?

    • please pm me your order number, so i can cancel that

  • How's the audio?

    • +1

Good enough for podcasts and as a headset for phone calls.
      Horrible for music.

    • +2

For headphones that cost <$4 they are fantastic. Don't think you will find any other headphones this good in this price range.

    • +3

Terrible for music (overpowering bass with veiled midrange and treble, sounds plasticky if that makes sense). Generic 'cheap earphone' sound. If you're looking for something cheap that sounds half decent, check out KZ IEM's, e.g. the ATR.

      • What about the other KZ ones? Any good?

Never even heard of these guys before.

        • +1

I've got a few pairs. Hard to get a good fit for some people, but at the price you can get a couple and find something you like, sound and fit wise.

ZS3's - alright sound, terrible fit for me being so large.

ATR - again, good sound, smaller than the ZS3's, good fit.

ZSE - subjectively better sound than ZS3, ATR's, I use these foam tips to ensure they don't fall out.

Very well documented on sites such as head-fi.

  • I ordered these from LITB on the 24/11.. it still hasn't been sent.
What is the usual delivery times?

    • at least 3 weeks for non tracking post.

    • Do you mean shipped or arrived?

    • normally package will send out in 3 business days, but as we know shopping season is coming, so might delayed some order. you can pm me your order number, so i can check the order status for you and see what i can do.

  • +1

Thanks OP. I only bought 1, wanted 2. Seems like the coupon only give $US2.50 discount in one transaction.

  • +1

    Thanks ordered!
Surprised it still worked. Thought the 300 would have been gone by now.

  • +1

Beware of the shipping time from LITB guys, even if you selected expedited shipping. I made an order of Xiaomi Redmi 4X on Nov 25th with 'Express Expedited shipping' (whatever that means)and paid $15 AUD extra since I was travelling out of the country next weekend.

They mentioned that delivery will be in 4-5 days. I have been following up for a week, and the rep yesterday mentioned that it may take 2 weeks. But even after a full week, it shows order is still processing.

Thinking of cancelling my order now. Should have gone with some other vendor.

  • These are not as good as earlier Pistons but for 3 bucks worth a punt

    • It's not about earlier or later. There's always been a 'cheap' version around $5 (Paperback, Fresh, etc.). The main ~$20-$40 range is still great.

  • Finally got a pair! Thanks OP.

  • +1

    Ordered. Thanks

  • +4

Seems expired now :( Any chance of more units rep?

EDIT: Seems like coupons SDEAR1 and SDEAR2 also provide the same discount!

    • Do you at least see a place to enter the coupon? To me it doesn't have any way to enter a coupon. Just shows this text "We automatically apply all eligible promotions to offer you the lowest possible price. $6.89"

      • +1

Press to "Proced to Checkout" and then scroll down, there will be a box to input the coupon. Remember to select no tracking and untick insurance for the best possible price.

        • Thanks, managed to get it for $3.44 AUD

    • Thanks!!!

    • 。。。wow, you find it. i just want to publish it

  • It shows $6.89 on the cart.
    Already expired ??

Edit: Thanks to @Brainwhacker : the code SDEAR2 still works.

  • SDEAR2 works - $3.44AUD

  • UPDATE

Confirmed working with following coupons at US $2.49
    SDEAR1
    SDEAR2

  • I have a pair of the earlier pistons & i wouldn't recommend them for music.
Sounds flat & terrible. But good for hands free.

  • They cord snapped once I was taking these out of my pocket.

    • Mine is the more expensive ($20-ish) Xiaomi hybrids and the cord snapped too. I can imagine the QC on these "fresh edition" ones could be a bit worse. I started switching to the KZ brand of earphones with silver upgrade cables, hopefully that will last longer.

  • FYI unless I got fake ones on the last deal, these are really bad. About on par with the free pair they give you on airlines

  • Any similar dear for earphone that is compatible with iPhone 7?
