Apologies, price changed while I posted the deal, I've amended accordingly.

This involves a Harvey Norman price match and you must have registered for the AMEX Harvey Norman offer below.

Looking to use my American Express Harvey Norman credit.

Saw the offer at Digital Camera Warehouse for the Sony a6000 with Kit Lens (16-50mm OSS) for $829. They have store locations in Sydney CBD, Canterbury NSW, Ipswich QLD and Northcote VIC, FYI.

Also available: Sony A6000 w/ Twin Lens Kit $887. this is for the twin lens bundle deal that includes 2 power zoom lenses (SELP1650 & SEL55210) and appears to be at an excellent price relative to Harvey Norman($1196 as of posting) Even grey imports, which don't qualify for Sony's cashback, seem to be around the $950 mark.

There is currently an offer for $150 cash back in the form of an EFTPOS gift card from Sony for this camera, bringing the price down to $679.

Harvey Norman was able to price match this online in my location with no fuss. YMMV. With the $150 Sony Gift Card and the AMEX Harvey Norman credit ($100 off $400+ spend) that brings the price down from $829 to $579.

  It's still a bargain with Sony Cashback, HN Cashback. Potentially TRS if you're travelling overseas.

        I think it's fairly obvious that the deal I originally posted was for $200 less. I've amended it to show just that.
        One could price match from Camera House for $30 less: price down to $649 after gift card.
        Those who saved the Amex deal could get it for $549 @ HN. That's competitive with the other deals posted this week.

        I agree. About $450 for body only or $500 for kit is a good deal. $679 is an ordinary price imho. No deal here.

  Thanks to @cintamami: If you have 2 AMEX cards registered for the Harvey Norman statement credit, you could split the payment (pay at least $400 on each) for a further $100 off, down to $537.

  These lenses sell for at least $250 combined on eBay so even if not interested in the glass, you're still getting an a6000 body for ~$387 ($287 with double AMEX).

    I don't think any HN in NSW has stock of dual lens kit. It may be possible to price match online, I'm not sure. But then you cant split the payment online.

      no stock in VIC for the bundle, went to store, and they could build the lens and camera into a bundle and match their own online price, but not willing to match Digital Camera Warehouse as there will be 2 item numbers, not 1

      It's the entry level telephoto for Sony's mirrorless cameras. Decent, not stellar. If you're thinking about purchasing the deal above, it's only 50 bucks more than the single lens kit, though, so pretty much a no brainer.

  Just picked up the price matched twin lens pack at HN for $887, with 2x AMEX cards and also got a $50 HN gift card thrown in. They definitely can price match the twin lens pack and don't have to make it one line item.
