It was $12.05 before at BigW but still a decent price :)

I've got the mk2oo. It the full sized keyboard, and it's been good. Afaik, it uses the same mouse, which is decent, and can hold the Bluetooth dongle inside its battery case. Other ozbargain peeps haven't been kind about this keyboard though.

Jeez that's a great price.. bought it earlier in the year for $18. Very happy with it,I'm not the most demanding though..lol. much quicker than using a controller.

    is this amazon effect?

    • +2

no this is a regular sale from most of the providers jb/OW/BigW every few months

good timing i need a new one because somebody spilled OJ all over the loungeroom one, ugh

    • There really is no "Amazon Effect" man.
Ebay codes have been happening for years, as have general bargains (hence this site).
Amazon has been a major disappointment. It's like the vibrator eneloops dying just before the climax.

  • There is also an extra 5% if you buy on Tomorrow. on wednesday. there is a coupon code in the email

    • care to share?

      • I think it's a unique code that you should receive in an email.

Great price for a wireless keyboard mouse combo, no doubt. But not a big fan of the cramped layout, especially the arrow keys, page up/down/home/end keys and keys going to the very edge. I suggest you try before you buy.

Unless you want an el cheapo keyboard for occasional use with an HTPC or something, youe are better off paying ~$15 more and getting a standard layout keyboard like the MK270 instead.

I have this and i replaced after a few weeks. Price is great but the cramped key layout is not great if you type a lot.

    • Yep, I have this one and the keys are too cramped. Not too bad but a bigger one would definitely be more convenient.

  • If they want a smaller design why did they put the number pad in there. Is that standard for PC keyboards?

  • I had this one and wasn't of a remarkable quality. I replaced it with the Logitech K270 which is much better and has better wireless range.

I'm using this combo right now and it is seriously a piece of crap. As mentioned, the keyboard is cramped which leads to inaccurate key hits. But the worst…is the mouse. Very often when scrolling down the page goes up or skips up and down. It happens 80% of the time at full speed. Also, the USB dongle is massive. Wouldn't recommend it, spend a bit more.

I was going to buy this but thanks to the comments above, I gave up.

  • Deal is posted for keyboard that is designed for HTPC use, people comment that it is not suitable for everything that isn't HTPC-related.

    • OP doesn’t say anything about HTPCs, nor does Logitech site; this keyboard is not specifically designed for such use.
Most HTPC keyboards are even smaller and come with an integrated touchpad, e.g: K400

      • OP doesn’t say anything about HTPCs, nor does Logitech site; this keyboard is not specifically designed for such use.

Does it need to? It's clearly targeted towards use in a lounge room, with it's compact design and gripped handle on one side of the keyboard.

        • MK220 doesn’t even have dedicated media control keys (which is a must-have for any HTPC keyboard), the few media controls it has are activated with the Fn key. Pretty sure this is not intended for lounge room use.

        • @opt:

Fair enough, I'd say it's certainly intended for mobile use at the very least though, which still reiterates my original comment/point that people are complaining about it being exactly what it was designed for.

  • I'm using this daily in my office. Works well but the small size isn't good for me. Waiting for a deal on full sized keyboard and mouse to switch.

  • Does anyone know if this works for MacBook as well?

  • I used it at work, and its battery consumption is very very good. Nearly 2 years, K/B still on original batteries. Mouse, changed batteries once.

Good budget kb/mouse combo. value for money and good quality.

  • Any deals on MX Master 2S ?

  • Cheers OP - good combo for the office.

  • Not on the same price range, but if looking for a premium option, Premier Wireless Keyboard - WK717 is one sale. It does seem to have descent review.

  • Bought it. Thanks! :-)
    Nice compact keyboard…

  • I owned one of these but couldn't stand it. The arrows are way too small, awkwardly positioned and in my opinion unusable. The battery cover on the left kept sliding off too.
