Good price but just too much trouble to buy little things from IKEA.

    • Why?

      • Gets lost in the store😵
From last deals, it's near the checkouts - so don't go through store.

confirmed this is next to the checkout in a big bin.

        • @cheapbloke:
Thanks - that saves people getting lost & dizzy going around the store😵

Has this deal ever stopped? It has always been available for the last few months

      I think you've noticed that before😉

    • Been going for the past 6-8 weeks. They can't seem to get rid of them!

  • I have a similar clock which is hard to use. It takes 3 AAA batteries, but need to re-set times every time once you change the batteries. In my opinion, don’t waste time on it. Simply use your mobile as clock.

Can you post any $1 mobile phone deals to use as a clock? Also, this clock has got a thermometer too(apart from time, alarm and stopwatch and it uses only 2 batteries). For $1 IMHO it is a bargain, I have gifted a few in my company's Pathology Collection Rooms, very handy when the collectors need to do timed collections(GTTs, C-14 Urea Breath tests etc)

You have a different clock! This takes 2 AAA batteries.

How often do you change batteries - has lasted so long in mine. By the time you need to change batteries, you need to reset the time anyway! (Unlike mobiles!) So not a real issue to pass this up.

It has different uses to a mobile!
Never seen a mobile with inbuilt thermometer🌡 to see room temp!
In comparison this popular thermometer deal was about $1 (130 upvotes), has tiny temperature reading, requires button cells, & won't arrive for many weeks. Deal should list as a thermometer🌡🌡

It's a versatile clock - to read the room temp, time, date, stopwatch - in a location. Timer retains last setting so useful when repeatedly timing same length of time. Just turn it over to start timer.
      And it's only $1 (I paid less).

Why would you choose to risk damage to a much more expensive mobile when you could use a $1 device?
I use this in kitchen where I don't want to use my mobile (moisture, greasy, dirty) to easily see temperature in the kitchen (not local forecast!), timer for cooking, etc. Yes some functions could be done with microwave, but it is usually in use when I am cooking.
[Checked my details first, so was late to respond😢]

Loganholme Qld had this same price 3 weeks ago. About half a pallet was there at the time.

  • Try and find a black one. I gave up.

  • Canberra store has 3 for 1$, or 10 for 4$ (which is slightly more expensive) :)
i just had to ask a guy in that second hand area.

These have a super weak LCD display I don't even know why they bothered

    • No they don't. Were you using flat batteries? Or 1.2V rechargeables?

      • I can see my kitchen temperature right now, 25 Celsius, from 3 meters away :)

  • Does anyone know if they have this in the Rhodes store?
