  • Are there any 55" units on sale?

    • +2

      The 55"is $499 and the 49"is $399

  • Big and cheap

    • ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

    Edit. Read the description wrong.

Tried the Akai 65” and ended up returning it. I suggest getting a smaller TV and investing in quality.

But I want a bigger TV

  • Low end 4k TV. Secifications make no mention these Viano 4k TVs support HDR (High Dynamic Range) or HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel).

    • Doubt they support it… also interestingly the link to the manual from the support page is for another TV model (which is 40" and not smart).

That being said, I was happy with my Viano 4K 55" TV from the last deal. It wasn't smart, the sound was rubbish, etc… but it was decent bang for buck for screen size.

Oh, and don't forget egift cards :)

      • Yep I got the 55in uhd as well after returning my target 55in for a refund. Sound is as expected but the picture is excellent.

    • How would you connect this to an AV receiver?

  • Hmm this or bauhn 65" at aldi?

that is the question, does BigW has a 60 day return policy like Aldi?

      • +1

probably get whichever has more upvotes lol

    • Probably bauhn, great TV. Would probably last longer than this, and much better.

The taco has spoken. Taco it is then.

P.s. combine both to get 130"eh?

technically you'd need 4 of them.

  • Waiting for these 65" 4K TVs to hit under $500 and then I'll cave in. They're getting close!

    • So was I… But that seems like ages away. 55" hasn't even hit under 500.

      • Yeah it has… Just

      • Mine was $499 (and a return was $209)

        • Nice good catch.

Just saw a review on there site. The tv doesn't support 4k at 60hz . The Xbox one s screen shots confirmed it and the aldi one does support 60hz 4k I own the 55 inch.

    Pick the Bauhn over this

    • You'll use the Bauhn to play Xbox? I've been reading input lag is a big issue with these TV's.. or am I wrong here?

Had the tv for 1 year to be exact I have played gears of war at 4k 60fps and I find it on the Xbox one x to be a pleasure .

Only thing it needs is a tune and it is a great tv. Turn up contrast and saturation to desire and turn down brightness to around 35 and the tv looks great .
