      Last time JB had this exact price, I swaggered into OfficeWorks grinning ready for the 5% price beat guarantee … and found they had them marked for 50 cents less. Sneaky.

      My local Officeworks (Liverpool NSW) pricematched at 83.60$ when I went today. So it might work for you, but you need to be quick since there is not much stock left at JB Hi-fi.

      They would sound good, the problem is that you'd have to stand up to change the speaker volume. We tried it out for a while but it was too annoying so we switched to a set of Z906—they have a remote (and surround sound). The Z906 are over $200 more though.

      Yea they'll be fine even for movies and games, provided you don't like it neighbour-annoyingly loud. Plenty of low end on these as well: mine go down to 33Hz, with decent volume down to about 40Hz which is amazing given the price.

      Yes, I got mine connected to the TV's headphone output so I can adjust the volume using the TV remote, great for movies!

        What TV model/brand do you have? Most TV headphone jacks output at line level, that is without volume control.

      Just remember that these are analogue so you'll likely need a digital-to-analogue audio converter

    Great speakers for the price!

    I have them on top of my fridge, with an old 7" tablet mounted to it. Fantastic for podcasts, music.

    These are all sold out and they won't order any more in. However, I managed to get the display model for $60. So if they still have the display model get them to discount it further.
