    Probably the only downside to this combo is that it uses its own receiver and not a Unifying receiver.

    I am using one right now and it's crap. It's too squashed up, there's no notification for capslock (fun when doing passwords) and most annoyingly, the mouse is rubbish. The mouse wheel often scrolls up or jerks up and down when you start scrolling or scroll fast - very annoying. As already mentioned, there is no unifying USB and the USB looks like it snuck way too many serving of Nanna's Xmas cake. I'd spend a bit extra and go more upmarket.

      just from the pix it looks an absolute PITA to use.

      Yep have the same keyboard. Its an absolute peice of shit. Haven't tried the mouse but the keys on the keyboard are cramped. Always hitting the wrong keys. Hate it. Save yourself $15, unless you hate yourself.

        If you hate the keyboard…you're gonna love the mouse. It should come with a complimentary hammer.
