I've been looking for a quality stand mixer for the wife recently.
This Kenwood mixer has good reviews and is 1/2 the price of a Kitchen-Aid.
Also comes in multiple Colors (To match the toaster etc).

I also saw this in-store at Harris Scarfe for $299 (But it's not listed on the website).

You may be able to get JB/Good Guys to Price Match if you don't have a David Jones in your Area.

    We've got one of these, picked up for $350 last year on a deal. It's fantastic. Made a great pavlova for Christmas using it. Highly recommended for this money.
