A: You can either call 1300 OFFICE or go in-store to price match, if you want $400 worth, just request 4 x $100 cards, I believe they either ship them to you or you pick up in-store if you call up. If you're in-store, just go to the counter with the cards and tell the clerk to price match, they'll do a quick check on the deal and match it.

Q: Can these cards be used to buy physical apple items in-store?

    Had a bit of a hassle at the Oxley QLD store so would avoid if you can.

    Managed to get $400 worth in the end but took awhile and really held up the line. Staff member was nice but couldn't find deal on the website so questioned its validity.

        It went from it's a third party advertisment.
        Then I showed them the Myer site.
        Then they said it was until 1pm.
        Then went around in circles… Didn't manage to get a resolution until I asked for customer feed back.
        Enough people had asked the same questions that the 'coordinator' should have coordinated with other stores and online.

          The carrot symbol (until 1pm) refers to items on page 1.
          i.e. 50% off Sheridan

          Edit: if the poster above suggested 3 reps on the phones and 60 calls, surely it wouldn't take (now 3hr 40min) to process orders!!!

    Just got a $100 one for $80 at Officeworks. She was really rude, didn’t even look at the PDF and told me they don’t match percentage discounts. I told her that MYER sell them for $80 so it’s not a percentage but an actual amount. I asked her to check with a supervisor but she cracked a sad and just sold it to me for $80. I was polite and thanked her when I left, but she just glared at me :)

    To those who got rejected on Price Beat Guarantee (PBG), please note the store manager names and rejection reasons. Click on Contact at the top of OW homepage. Then click on the Feedback -> Stores -> State -> Store -> answer the rest of questions. I spoke to the online sales team and was told this form submission would go to OW Complaint Team. PBG exclusions which do not state % off sales as one of the exclusions. Those managers or staff created their own PBG exclusions. They work for OW but they acted like they owned the stores.

    OfficeWork Carnegie are aware of the deal and price beat Myer, cheers Nick and Seb!

    They advise there is a limit of 5 iTunes card per transaction and have removed all $50 and $100 iTunes cards, leaving the $20 and $30 iTunes on the floor.

    From how I read the Myer post. The deal falls under Sunday 14 Jan 9am-1pm.

      No, the 9-1 deals are only like the ones stated with “Early Bird 9-1”, the rest are weekend wide. The Mac/Bose deals have been running since Friday.

      The weekend wide ones start where the line above “FASHION” starts.

    Officeworks Anzac Highway were refusing to price match. Mentioned I will put in complaint about not doing price match guarantee and they said they will do 20% as it’s “IT currency” and the 5% doesn’t apply. Stood my ground that they should beat it or I will just go to Myer directly and report their store and the finally agreed to do it “just this one time”.

    Price matched at Rutherford OW. Was not the usual smooth transaction that I normally get there when price matching but after the manager spent some time online they agreed to do it. Purchases $300 worth for $228. They only had a few $100 ones left because they were already doing 15% off.

    Long time listener, first time caller. Price matched at Officeworks Aspley (Brissy Northside). Look for the guy welcoming at the front door with the beard - he was SO quick and accommodating! They have at least 20 of each amount left too.

    Castle Hill took a little convincing but did it in the end.

    Penrith did it no questions asked.

    Blacktown gave me an excuse that they had been directed not too price match anymore on the Myer deal. Don't know what the story there was. I wasn't in the mood so I left it at that.

    So do these expire at any time from purchase date? Some of the cards have a 2014 date on them.

    Got a call from the Tamworth OW manager regarding my email: https://pastebin.com/rZsNpguv

    The manager was very helpful, genuine and apologetic; she had obviously given my email much thought. She has apologised and said that none of this should have happened. She has offered a refund of the 5% component and also a gift voucher for my troubles. There is a staff meeting on Thursday where the manager will go over what needs to be done for PBG so that the team knows how to approach the situation next time. Apparently there are a few new staff but the coordinator was not new and there is no excuse for her denying me the offer with poor customer service to boot and this will be discussed with her. The manager also stated that it is not up to the customer to provide written proof and a phone call to the competitor store is sufficient. This phone call doesn't even need to happen til I've left the store, read: the process is supposed to be very easy for the customer with a low burden of proof.
    I mentioned that I knew of issues in OW stores across the nation and she said she has also sent an email to head office regarding this saga. OW employ 2 FTE staff to "make sure our prices are always the lowest" and with the Myer sale advertised on Wednesday the price should have been dropped to match and so the manager has sent an email to ask what has happened there.

    I would encourage any one else who had issues to complain as I have had a very positive outcome.

    I think Officeworks in Alexandria made a mistake. I bought 3 times $50 gift card to match, expecting a discount on 24%. However, their itunes $50 is already discounted to $42.5. So she took off 20% of the $42.5 and add additional 5% discount on top.

    I paid $32.3 each card which is essentially 35.4% discount. I wish I bought more.

    Officeworks in Wollongong (Fairy Meadow) was very straightforward to deal with. Kudos to them. I bought 5 cards to start with (the max I assumed as per the T&Cs) and when wife noted her kids also wanted some cards we went back there with her so it was 'another person' - staff member had no issues and just rang up 3 more cards..

    They were actually already discounting (I think, to match Coles which is doing 15% this week until Friday - so if you didn't get any on this deal then Coles/Officeworks are still doing 15% off (which is better than full retail..)
