I'm guessing this is targeted at customers only.

  • Thanks, claimed mine

  • How long are they valid for?

    • +1

      Valid till 31 January 2019

    • It says January 2019 on the claim page.

    • For use before Jan 31 2019

  • It won't let me log on with my existing details, not sure if it's getting smashed or something wrong with my account…

    • are you a customer of virgin MOBILE?

  • Cheers, just claimed mine!

  • Claimed! Thanks

  • Looks targeted? I cant see it on my screen.

  • Grabbed mine, thanks!

  • Yay, got some thanks!

  • Thanks!

  • Thanks OP! Managed to claim

  • Grabbed mine! Thanks OP!

  • Claimed, thanks!

  • I'd say more than 250 people have claimed by now yet the link is still active. Plus the link is still valid after claiming :S

  • Where is the best VA lounge? I hear Melb is pretty good?

    • There was just a review about it posted today!

    • It also varies depending on the time of day. Melb breakfast is pretty average. Bit of cereal, fruit, salad bar, and pancake machine which is never working properly.

      • It's improving though. A fortnight ago there was perfectly nice bacon and eggs available.

Melbourne has more room than Sydney, but Melbourne is before security, so you have to leave 5 mins earlier (having an in-house security line means you don't have to leave any more time), and you will probably have trouble smuggling out a coffee to go. Food offerings in Sydney seem to be lBrisbane is also spacious, and past security, though only has one shower per gender (with a unisex disabled shower in addition). The lounges are identical with drinks, and almost identical when it comes to food (best time in any lounge for food is early evening when they bring out the dish of the day - might be noodles, might be fish and chips, might be tacos), and the decor is the same everywhere.

      • Next upgrade of The terminal hopefully starting this year the plan was to have lounge past security.

    • Canberra is also spacious, not as big as Melbourne. Brisbane also good.

Sydney is small but Adelaide is even smaller. Haven't been to the Perth one. No Virgin lounge in Hobart.

P.S. Platinum flyer here, don't need the passes. Lounge is good but don't worth to fight for.

      • Yeah, I noticed Canberra was quite large for such a small airport, but I'm guessing it gets extremely crowded during sitting weeks, given most of each plane would have gold or platinum status.

Brisbane is the best - not the biggest, but good lounge, close to gates so easy to plan time, also express security queue for Velocity Gold+.

Melbourne is good lounge, but is before security which is major pain to get quickly before the flight.

Sydney is Ok, lounge is big but gets full in rush hour, long walk to most gates.

Perth lounge is not too big, but good - I like the whole new Virgin terminal (T1).

Adelaide is tiny, limited food choices.

Canberra - haven't been there, I'd rather not mingle with wasters of my tax dollars.

  • +3

Jesus as if the lounges aren’t busy enough.

  • Bugger Could have used in early Jan ahhhhhhhhhhhh!

  • I had signed up when the deal was open but still don't see anything in my mail. Were we meant to receive them by email by now?

    • No they physically send you the passes.

      • Anybody have received theirs yet? I had my old postal address in my Virgin Mobile account, so afraid it might have been sent there by mistake..

        • Nope I am still waiting. I have since left Virgin Mobile as well, so who knows ;)

I figure it will just take time like a lot of these things tend to.

        • @Maveot: Oh okay.. but i'm hoping that they haven't sent it out (i've since changed the address) cos it'll be a pain asking the current tenants of the property

        • @Shuey:

FYI mine turned up today. Shouldn't be far away now.

  • Just received my passes in the mail today. Does anyone know if I can use this complimentary entry to the Virgin lounge for international flights?

    • Nope, no international Virgin lounges. Your best bet would be to swap for some Qantas passes.
