  • I hear these suck

    • Mine showed up today. Honestly, was better than expected. Not great, but acceptable when used purely to stream music.

      • Mine showed up from gearbest a few days ago, doesn't even turn on :(

        • Pry open the case and check the battery hasn't broken free.

        • @JMC:

I did that and it appeared to be disconnected, held it in place but still didn't come on. Battery might be flat I'll probably try soldering it on and then charging it

    • +1

      sound is like radio quality

      AM or FM?
You may be connecting using the phone-headset profile, instead of the stereo A2DP.

      • How do you do that

    • +2

I had no problem with this product.

    • +2

      Your neg is removed.
I bought one of these from their last deal. The thing is savage! A+ quality. Only need to turn it off when not playing. For $1, it is great.
      Thanks a lot OP

      • -1

I gave you a neg for saying "savage".

        • -1

          What what what? Savage!
Ok thank you, I gave you a fat upvote. Savage means cute though :)

      • It's definitely not "A+" quality. It sounds alright when streaming through speakers, but the hiss is very noticeable through headphones.

        • +1

I've tested this with Creative Inspire 5.1 and it almost brought the house down. Absolute clear A+ sound quality. Lasted a good 4-6 hours.

I have also tested this with my Plantronics BackBeat pro 2 Bluetooth headphones in wired mode, I give it A+ sound quality, no statics, hiss, whatsoever, having said that, I give my headphones Bluetooth, A++ quality, just a little bit better but nothing that an ordinary listener would notice. It's like comparing FLAC to MP3. The headphones are $250-$300, this is $1!

Ps: Song tested, Hello Rio, by Ottawan. To make sure all frequencies are being tested.
Quality: High quality settings on Spotify over WiFi
Ps2: I noticed they have sent me a Bluetooth 4 version for some reason. But the Bluetooth 3 that I also own is just the same.

If it arrives DOA like mine, look inside. I had to re-solder the battery as it was not secured, so broke off in transit.
A bit of glue would stop it breaking.

    • Same with me. Doa

      • any pic for that battery? my friend have one and the battery not works. is it easy to open it?

        • Yes. Fingernails or blade.

    • Mine was DOA, was going to take it apart but didn't have anything handy to prise it open with

      • Fingernail will do the trick.

  • +3

This worked really well for me

  • I get mono sound out of mine.

    • wrong BT profile

      • +1

How do I change the profile?

  • -1

don't waste your dollar guys that's like ENE $0.2

  • +5

Worked really well for me, I used it for my car and sounded amazing.

  • +3

Using mine on a Logitech system at the moment and works great

  • Thanks. Ill throw a dollar at this to try out.

  • mine sounded fine in the car but not sure whether it was rosegal or somewhere else

    • They are the same ones Gearbest sell (owned by the same company).

  • +1

Using one in my car at the moment. I paid $3 a year a go from either Gearbest or Zapals, I can assure you that it was the best $3 I spent in 2017 for cheap gadget. I expected it to die after a few uses and recharge, but no. It's still going strong.

  • +1

I got one last time, works but sound quality is not great and the sound volume is a bit low. YMMV.

  • Yeah, just got mine too, I suggest to put aside 2 months for delivery… Mine works fine, only problem now is I don't have a Bluetooth dongle delivery to look forward too any more o.O

  • +1

Mine works fine but the 10M BT range is exaggerated. Try 3-4M max before it starts cutting out.

  • Mine didn't work. Connects to the phone, but doesn't play any sounds.

  • Car stereo plays blue tooth devices if they are usb-connected in car console. (Car stereo also plays phone messages when I am driving … hands free).

Would there be any benefit to me if I purchased one of these?

Not sure if there is an audio inlet in car that would take that round plug, which looks like headset size.

    • +1

I'm pretty sure it's called an aux port, and yeah, it is headphone size :)

      • Thanks for the info. I am a newbe to bluetooth and most other techo terms. Love buying gadgets (I hardly ever use though), so poising on the "buy." Not literally that is.

    • Have ordered one; thank you … for 93c AU. $AU must have risen slightly.

Now the big mystery is what on Earth I am going to do with this.

      Cheers! 👍

  • Got one last time. My husband said it worked great, but he bumped it slightly while it was in the aux port and the whole thing literally fell apart.

  • My last one hissed too much to use. I will try again though.

  • Seems you can order more than one with this voucher, as long as you buy them separately.

  • Maybe it's luck of you get a good one. I got one last time the deal was on and it's great! Excellent range, decent enough quality for a non-audiophile like me. Worth the risk for a $.
I use it on the old AV receiver.

  • +3

I've got like 8 of these already. I don't even know what they're suppose to do

    • Put it on gumtree.

    • give one to me for free?

      • Probably cheaper to order it from China then post domestically

  • I received mine last week, audio quality is better than expected, only quirk is when powering on/off, a Asian voice says"power on, Bluetooth connected"/"power off".

    • +2

I laugh internally when it powers on.
      In Chinese accent:
      "Power aahn"
      "Phown kinnectid"

  • A lot of static from what I received from last order but it seems that I was unlucky one as others seem to be doing ok.

  • +2

Mine work very well, however, does anyone know how to get them to turn on automatically when it receives power?
I hate having to hold the button each time

    • It is battery operated, so turning on and charging are separate functions.

    • Complete agree with u on this one, every time I get in my car I have to click it on =(

      • Maybe I can wire some sort of relay

  • does anyone know of anything like this that turns on once it gets power?

    • Search for "bluetooth a2dp usb dongle". there are a ton on ebay. about $3.

  • Does it work when it is plugged in?

  • Ahh. Just missed out. This is really great. Grabbed one before and it's really handy to have around. My wired headphones is now wireless.

  • I bought one on the last offer and was surprised how good it was. I bought another this time round as a spare.
