Perhaps the cheapest Core i7 8th Gen 2in1 available.
Highly spec-ed item, except the built-in GPU of Intel UHD 620.

Under Q&A, it's said to include active pen.

Reviews are not very favorable, mostly under 3 stars, but it's on higher price point.

Note that the 13 7000 version is still available for about the same price, but with Core i5.

Also the Lenovo V330 for $1055 - comes with slightly better gpu, but no 2in1 and no touchscreen, and heavier with two batteries

or go higher with Lenovo Ideapad 720s for $1360 - 1.2kg, better build, no touchscreen:

Also worth noting that E480 and E580 are often on sale at around $1100, with better GPU, PCIe and extra 2.5" SATA, but no touchscreen.

Edit: the lenovo core i5 2 in 1 is also still available and now cheaper than before.

  • "Reviews are not very favorable, mostly under 3 stars." Not sure I need to read on.

    • I suppose it's normal for entry level laptop.

  • Reviews are not very favorable, mostly under 3 stars.

    MUST BE A JUNK PRODUCT

    • from my experience, inspiron and xps both are crappy, latitude is pretty solid but is expensive.

    • Need to mention that the review are based on $1500.

  • Lenovo V330 for $1055 - it's about 100g lighter

Look at the V330 specs, the 1.55kg weight is without battery

    • good poiint, edited

    • I think That's not touch. Not sure though

      • Yeah v330 and e series are definitely not touch. So is the ideapad 720s.

  • It's $1215 with "PCTECH" from Dell eBay if u want to have Au warranty.

  • I got last years model basically the same specs without the pen from the Dell outlet for $622. Been a good laptop for the 3 months I have had it but it is all plastic. The 7000 series with metal body seems better build quality.

  • The thing is do you need a touch and pen tablet or are you a mouse and keyboard person.
The premium in price is in the touch and pen features.

    • It's pretty cheap though for 1000
