$38 for 2GB memory is better, but is it a amlogic 905W (TX3 mini) which is not as good as amlogic 905X (TX3 Pro)… decisions..

      • absolutely go the extra RAM - makes a difference in LibreElec and especially if you add retroarch for old style gaming fun.

        • I actually went the other way, not loading retroarch and libreelec is quite lean on memory

  • How is this compared to the Mibox?

      Xiaomi or bikies.
      Ozbargain rules!!!

    • this is the phone playstore so no iview, sbs on demand freeview apps all load easily ….. mi box uses android tv so has different playstore and not as many as many apps for australian tv unless you side load, which isn’t as easy as using the playstore …. my mi box is collecting dust while i use normal android media player.

      • You keep saying the same thing over and over but if you actually used it you will see that the Australian catch up are now officially on the android tv store and the xiaomi mi box is the best box money can buy since you using a genuine interface to run on a TV not running Android on a TV that need uses a stupid remote that has horrible slow and laggy navigation

use logitech wireless keyboard as we watch you tube on it and it makes it easier to type in search criteria ….. haven't used a media player proved remote in a long time.

        • @garage sale:

I have been using android boxes for years and have never used the supplied remote. Only ever use a standard wireless mouse and very rarely even use my wireless keyboard.

        • The only supported Australian catch up I found that I can install to my Android TV is TenPlay.

        • @theguyrules: I got then all

    • Apples and oranges. Different OS

Whats the difference between the Tanix TX2-R2 and Tanix TX3 Pro?
Which one is more powerful, better, etc?

Also, how much better is the Tanix TX92 than those two?
