          So you are comparing AU Stock price to a grey import price and even then the price is over $250 different. That's a pretty dodgy comparison to make.

    Should I buy this S8, upgrading from S7 or wait for the S9, which is going to be released soon?
    Chances are the S8 price may drop further to the release date of S9?

      Unfortunately killed my S7 so in a similar boat. Using my old HTC One until the S9 comes out. Want to see how much of a difference the new chips make for battery life and see what the camera is like. And obviously see the price drop on the S8 +/- note 8.

      Problem is I'm worried I'd be tempted to then wait for the Pixel 3 and Note 9… :P

    Wish I could buy outright, I went on a plan and got the Galaxy s8, it's perfectly good functionality compared to the iphone X and the price is better.
