      I called up @ 12.17pm and they told me they have ONE left in stock. Would not hold stock or accept payment over the phone.

      Guess someone came along and bought it 2 minutes after. Either that or a bastard employee just jumped on the deal :S

    Dayumm.. that's too bad, I would have bought one just to sell (or use for online games, as we already have a jailbroken one). Seeing as chadstone is the closest store to me and they're sold out… what a bummer.

    This is probably one of the best deals I've seen in ages (although the nescafe one was awesome too eheheh)

    Will keep an eye out if anyone successfully price matches though.

      Not likely to happen. Most price match clauses state that the item must be in stock. Others also go further and state that it can't be 'clearance' or similar items.

    Yep, I can confirm that Aspley is sold out. DAMN!! Skipped work early to get there only to see empty shelves and an annoying employee advising me that the PS3's on special all sold out.

    Picked up a PS3 and PS2 at Toys R Us Pacific Fair for a tad under $250 the lot. They said there were "lots" of PS3's left when I asked them as of 12pm today. Tonnes of PS2's too. No DS Lites, staff snapped them all up I reckon.

      no mistake..it was clearance stock..they dont make the 120gb ones anymore…
      also mentioned to me when i called up another store that it was probably the older model that suffered from a similar prob to xboxs red ring of death…
      still…great price

    NSW stock all gone. It's such a shame (apparently someone bought 5). I'm normally not the one to complain but I was only after one, I think that's pretty selfish for the person who bought 5.

      Yeah definitely. I'm lucky I got one, I could have bought a dozen as I was the first to get there, but left the stock for others - shame there are selfish people out there. I don't doubt we'll see them all on ebay shortly.
