      Had this problem before, it brings up a drop down list of councils.
      Chatted to support, sent them an image, explained the problem, was waiting for a reply and they just dropped the chat … useless.

      Now I just add a message with the order with my correct address and phone number, (because that's borked also).

    Hey all, I'm looking for a holder that doesn't sit in front of the air vent - it either makes my phone freezing cold or heats it up :)

    I've looked at the ones you can plug into the CD player - any experience with this or alternatives?

      I've used a CD player one before too. It's okay but the mount uses a magnetic you have to put inside your phone case so the holder can't easily be used with anyone's phone.

        Not all CD holder ones use magnets.

        A friend of mine has one which uses the same spring loaded mount to grip the phone like this one. She loves it and hasn't had any issues with it. It was a cheap $3 one from eBay I think.

        The only negative I can see with them is that they will damage (flatten) the felt stuff that is there to stop dust entering the CD slot when nothing is inserted.

    I would have to say that the product is not very good - As mentioned it does cover a large proportion of the air vent. Mine has already lost the grip hold, so the phone just slips - only 6 weeks old - i wouldn't waste the money

      I think the best thing to do is put a suburb close to yours and then in the notes put your actual address for it to be sent to, the seller should pick it up.

        I put in Other and then added to the messages my actual suburb. Hopefully it works. I didn't have this problem before when I ordered from AE though.

    A few months after buying one I found that the metal prongs that go into the vent tore through the rubber coating, making it a bit harder to attach. It's possible that I don't have a genuine one, it was from OzB so I can't remember. Also can't use it on very hot days as it blocks most of the cool air vent. On the upside you get an ice cold phone for the duration of your trip.

      No. I have an i30, which has vertical air vents. I cannot for the life of me get this to sit well on it, particularly because of how the dashboard curves. I think this item is really only suitable for larger cars, because small cars don't have the space.

    Got mine a few days ago… don't know what the hype is about, they're pretty crappy if you ask me… way too stiff (pull them out of the vent trying to get your phone in!), and seems just a bit too small for a S8+ with a cover on.
