Delivery is showing up as $22.99 for most post codes in states such as VIC, NSW, QLD and TAS. This brings the total to $621.99. You won't be able to use Shipster either as the delivery cost is more than $20.

You are better off purchasing this from their eBay store with the code PICK5 for $611.57 shipped.

Another option would be to purchase a $50 off $120 spend Kogan voucher from eBay. Lowest listing I can see is for $7.98. So in total the price should be $579.97 shipped ($599+$22.99+$7.98-$50). You can also create a new account to save an extra $10 by using your referral credit. Just keep in mind that these vouchers are from private sellers and not official stores.

    Lastly, it's actually cheaper from eGlobal eBay with the code PICK5 as mentioned above;

I would steer clear of Kogan if you planned on using the phone before Easter!
I ordered my phone 15/1 and it's still on the way today (shipped from Melbourne for Melbourne) …..and paid full price for shipping. Emails are only responded if you follow up with a call and then you only get "we will have a look……" still waiting. Absolutely hopeless and I'd rather purchase from another Ebay store.

  • not to bad. any one know of any deals for the Pixel XL 1 besides Kogan. I know Kogan have it from $699 for the 32GB.

  • +1

The thing I dislike about this phone is the iPhone-esque aesthetics. However just remember that this generation of Pixel phones comes with the bonus of unlimited full size video/picture uploads to Google Photos - there is no expiry date on this unlike the Pixel 2 which has an expiry on this offer in 2020.

    • Is that free uploads for the life of the phone? Only applies if you are using that phone to upload? Would the same apply if you bought a Pixel second hand?

      • +1

Not sure about second hand ones. Its free uploads for the life of the phone from what I understand. There was an official statement about it from Google recently. Search the net or Googles blog and see if you can find it.

i was really keen on this mob, but i chose not to get it due to screen burn in via oled display. so instead i got xperia xz1 which is lcd display. but thats a great price!!!

    • +1

Isn't the screen burn problem only on the Pixel 2 XL?

      • +2

Posting from my Pixel 2 XL I see absolutely no evidence of screen burn in, I'm very pleased with the vibrance of colours, the much spoken about "blue tint if viewed at an angle" may or may not exist, certainly not to a level that I even notice it. And the camera is so very very good. Best phone Ive owned, by far.

a simple google search for people who care not to have screen burn in

        • -1

A "simple google search" is a bit misleading, if you search for 'google pixel screen burn in' the first three pages of results are for the Pixel 2 only.

If you go looking you will find burn in reports for a lot of oled screens even top end eg. iPhone X, Samsung S8 etc. Probably doesn't affect real life usage.

    • Yeah that has nothing to do with the gen-1 Pixel deal posted.

    Amazing camera

  • Any good XL deals around?
