Just got an eMail from Skybus and found their online price for a return ticket is now $34 instead of $36. So effectively this deal is now $32.30 for a Return ticket for Tullamarine Airport <-> SouthernCross.

What a shameful offer from Skybus - giving us $3 off a round trip ticket!
True Ozbargainers would take the 901 (past the domestic terminal, cross the road and inside the bus station under a building.) If you have a Myki card you can jump on and travel 10 minutes to Broadmeadows train station. If you haven't got a Myki, but ask nicely, the driver will probably allow you on and you can buy one at Broadmeadows station :)
less than $6 for unlimeited travel or $3 for 2 hours which should get you to Melbourne CBD.
Yea, I tried it once. A normal trip to the Airport for me was 1 hour and a bit from my home via Skybus but took me 2 hours and a bit for the Myki Route so if you are in no hurry, I recommend the $6 myki trip.
Ps, waiting for the 901 bus in front of Broadmeadows train station isn't something I like to do often at night.
Just wait in the train station waiting room with CCTV and a Metro worker on duty and check the electronic timetable periodically.
Skybus is a joke. I'd rather take the train to broadmeadows then 901.
