    Excellent price OP!

Good price but that processing time (19 business days) isn't great. With standard shipping it could take close to 2 months to arrive.

    • lol that's a wrong calculate by system, process time normally 1-3 days, recently due to CNY, so might up to 1 week.

      • Up to 1 week

But your site currently quotes "16-18 business days" for processing (https://imgur.com/a/MhrBu). That's up 25 calendar days or 3.5 weeks.

I ordered an item from lightinthebox.com on 24 January. Payment was confirmed the same day and dispatch was quoted as 29 January at the latest. It's nearly two weeks later and it hasn't been dispatched. Still in "PROCESSING". There are plenty of similar stories all over OzBargain, and you have a general reputation for slow dispatch. Random examples:

I understand that fast-dispatch is not your business model, and I don't think that is an issue if we buyers are realistically informed and can take it into account when purchasing. But deliberately under-quoting dispatch times will do no one a favour.

        • site currently quotes "16-18 business days" for processing, i checked this with supplier, that's a wrong calculate by system as i said above,i have report to IT guys to fix it now. we have 300 pcs stocks arrive on 31/1 and another 500 pcs stocks on the way, if every thing ok will arrive on 8/2.

about your order, do you mind pm me the order number? so i can better check it for you. Due to CNY coming, market have less stocks than usual, so those popular item might OOS a while and delayed some order.

        • @MiniInTheBox:

Curious. You say you've had plenty of stock since 31/1 and that you're not getting any more until tomorrow, yet OzBargainer "vimfuego" had to wait over a week for you to dispatch his/her order… despite waiting a week already. (Product ordered 26 Jan, still not shipped on 1 Feb, shipping email received today 7 Feb.) See:

And if it can take "up to 1 week" to dispatch an order due to Chinese New Year, but your website is promising "Ships in 24 hours" (as it has been for the product I ordered and many others), you can understand why customers are questioning your words.

Great price. Shipping Time: Processing Time + Expedited Express 3-6 business days = total BS

Verify final payable price is US$19.00

I bought this phone from LightInTheBox on a previous deal - and still waiting for delivery.

It sat at "Shipped" for 6 days before it got a tracking number, and now with a tracking number (with PostNl) it has been sat at "The item is pre-advised" for another 6 days, so far. I was expecting an expensive item like this to move a bit quicker.

    • +1

My order is the same, are you saying pre-advised doesn't mean it's been shipped? I hope this is not the case.

      • +1

I think so, google turned up this page, here's an extract:

What does ‘item is pre-advised’ mean? It means that the seller has contacted Netherlands Post and have advised them that a parcel is coming their way, that they should expect to receive it. The parcel will then be processed by their sorting centre, pass the checks and then finally be dispatched to the destination country.

        • +1

Item is preadvised means it hasn't arrived in Netherlands yet.

They advised NL post that they will send them the item so please expect it at some point.

It doesn't mean it has shipped yet.

It could mean it has shipped to a NL holding facility in China awaiting more items to join it so they can be shipped in a big group to Netherlands. It could mean that is enroute to the Netherlands.

It's basically useless status that means absolutely nothing useful or helpful ;)

Eventually it will change to 'arrived in nl sorting facility". It will sit in Netherlands for a few days then make its way to Australia.

Blame the Chinese post companies for refusing to send cellphone with lithium batteries.

@kiwijunglist: My order from LITB Netherland, it took one and a half month to delivery to Brisbane.

    • +1

due to CNY, some item might OOS and delayed. and if you get a track number, means is send out, just need few patience wait. the track information will update when it arrive to next place. standard shipping time would be 3-5 weeks

      • Thanks for letting us know about the expected shipping time.

Although, it's a pity that I missed out on this price drop and I'm still waiting for delivery.

  • Honestly would've bit on this if it had NFC, because it's a great phone. I had to go for an Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus because i needed both IR and NFC.

  • Just to be aware:

It didn't say anything on the listing when I bought the phone.

When I follow up on my order it says expected shipment date 6 march.

Given they use post NL it has to go via the Netherlands. My last NL post delivery of a cellphone took 6 week (Xmas time).

So I expect delivery is at least 8 weeks away, which is pretty poor and they should let people know this BEFORE purchase.

  • Do they open the box to install global rom? Or does it come sealed from the factory as global rom?

    • +1

It runs the AndroidOne Os so there is no 'global' version

No NFC means no Opal/Go card replacement in 12 months right?

    • Nope

      • -2

So basically worthless for City commuters :(

    • What do you mean? Didn't get it, sorry.

  • Ah damn, just ordered a few days ago from litb but didn't use cashrewards. My order hasnt beern shipped but can't be bothered with the hassle

    • You just email cashrewards and tell them you have used but didn't receive the email notification. They will fix that for you. they will tell you maybe something wrong with your web browser. and they will tell you don't use IE.

      • +1

They have "Click History" now (https://www.cashrewards.com.au/clicks - in beta), so they can check if a person actually attempted to use Cash Rewards or not. Still doesn't mean legitimate problems won't occur.

And on the upside, if you did use Cash Rewards and you didn't get your reward, then there is now proof you made the attempt.

  • Hi,
So the phone is only a couple of days old. It was working fine and I set it to auto update software. I woke up to find the phoen stuck in the 3 menus:
    1-reboot
    2-wipe data
    3-connect with MI assistant

I tried all the options and it keeps going back to the same screen.

I have also tried folliwng the instructions provided in the link for the MIUI Rom flashing tool refer to link below. But the phone is locked and I can't unlock it because the phone won't turn on. I have applied to get it unlocked via the laptop but cannot access the sms code it sends.
    http://en.miui.com/a-234.html

    • That's not good to hear. What do you mean the phone won't turn on? Have you contacted Mi Support?

    • Any update on this, mate?
