Wish i read this before using PICK5….

Ill ask Catch to cancel order and then rebuy with PRESENT20 if they agree

      • Are 'Catch' becoming the new headphone place? Seems like all roads lead to them!

  • These aren't bad. Were $69 at myer around Xmas.

I had these headphones for a while - they sound good, but the noise cancelling is pretty rubbish. The Bauhn ones from Aldi have far better NC, come with a nice travel case, and they were heaps cheaper too.

    • heaps cheaper?? They were $79.99 at Aldi…unless you picked them up on clearance.
I have a pair of the Sony ones…saved me on a flight from LAX to MEL…made it quiet enough I could have the volume of the tv on low and could sleep easily too.

      • The Aldi non-wireless ones (they were for sale a few months earlier) were $39, later $29 on clearance. Using them side by side with the Sony units was a massive contrast in NC effectiveness - the Bauhn ones do a far better job of removing background noise, both in a home and and aircraft situation. After a week with the Sonys, I sold them on Gumtree and got another set of the Bauhn ones for my wife, who was stealing mine all the time.

As normal headphones the Sonys are fine - they sound decent, they're light and comfortable, and the battery is replaceable which is nice. But if you're buying them for the noise-cancelling capability, don't bother.

  • For the price - sound is ok. Noise cancelling is extremely poor. If you are looking for noise cancelling - save your money
