Ozito 18V Li-Ion Hammer Drill Kit $59 (was $75) @ Bunnings Warehouse

130

With this 18V hammer drill, you can complete a range of drilling and screwdriving jobs around the home and workshop. Use the hammer drill function to allow you to drill into masonry products such as brick and concrete. Operate with ease in dark or confined areas with the in-built LED work light.

With a 2 speed gear box, variable speed trigger and 21 torque settings, you have the control to select the best set-up for multiple applications. Low speed provides more power and torque for drilling and driving, whereas high speed is ideal for fast drilling where less torque is required.

Pretty good price but not sure if this battery will fit any of their other tools.
This is from the older range where I'm not even sure if the batteries were interchangeable between the grey coloured range

Older model. I would rather go the power xchange versions which are apparently higher quality. I have the sds rotary and it's pretty good. Plus the batteries go on sale every time the aldi equivalents reappear.

    • Which model SDS drill do you have? I'm looking to get one to drill holes to treat salt damp.

      • The ozito power xchange one. SDS Is so much better than a normal chuck plus it’s a proper rotary hammer too.

    • I think the aldi one is coming in the next catalogue. Anyone kniw if any good?

      • Do you have a link for the catalogue? I was heading to Bunnings to buy the ozito power x change but if ALDI has drill sets on special buys then most likely Bunnings will have one if theirs on special.

        • Tried looking for it online - not there howver you can grab it jn store. I think its the special buys in a couple of weeks

        • @richmond12: okay will wait for ALDI catalogue or Bunnings special price

      • Will Bunnies have a counter special to the Aldi 31cc 4 stroke straight shaft weed eater with 5 attachments for $199 coming soon.

  • This was reduced to $39 previously.

  • Don’t do it.

Forget the hammer function on light equipment such as this, corded or not. Hammer drills need weight behind them to provide inertia, which stops them bouncing while hammering. No matter how hard you press on light Hammer drills, they bounce.
