    Chinese New Year sale but the travel period is outside the Chinese New Year. Very average price then unless it is during the new year period. Sigh!

      Chinese NY Sale is referring to the selling period, clearly.

      The travel period is clearly stated - doesn't feel dodgy to me.

        Might as well just call it a sale rather than CNY sale as it is nothing special about this "sale".

          Yea, kind of agree.. the wording suggests it travel could be in the CNY period and it wouldn't be unreasonable for someone to read the title and think it includes travel in the CNY period.

          I wouldn't say "nothing special" though. The prices are indeed quite good.

    Price was $579 return at the Travel Expo yesterday flying Virgin Australia. (Sydney > Hong Kong return)

      Travel Expo deals don't really count as they rig up hotels for you that are overpriced, so you end up paying more in the end
