I wonder if these are returned units from people who are looking for the perfect screen. I bought a gaming monitor from them months ago and they were great when I had out of box issues with my monitor sample (very bad light leakage). Sent mine back and got another one within 2 weeks. They also said they will keep swapping mine for another time if the second don't work out (and then a full refund).

Not that I am implying they will send you bad screen samples, I mean I don't know. But don't let this prevent you from getting a good deal. I think $699 is a good price if its full box contents, etc.

      • Would be my guess. Returns

    • +1

Why is the 32" version of this monitor often cheaper than the 27"? Is it a different panel or is the popularity of the smaller size the only reason it costs more?

      • Yeah the 32 inch is a VA panel. The 27 is a very decent IPS

    • Can't see why this second hand display model which has been On 24/7 be a bargain at that price.

      • +1

If anyone bought - I would be interested to see how many hours the unit has been turned on for, which i available on the on-screen display/menus.
I would be checking that on delivery to ensure it wasn't display.

    • is it out of stock? order cant go thru.

      • Looks to be back in stock if you were still interested.

I decided to post this on the forum instead of a Deal as it is Temporarily out of stock, but still available to order.

Also, its possibly a price error as these usually go for $6-$8 for a pack of 7.

  • Merged from Kevin Touch to Open Smart Lock 2nd Gen Contemporary Black $60 at Bunnings Rydlmere
    Go to Deal

Kevo smart lock on clearance for $60 at bunnings, your local store may have too.

Rydlmere had 3 contemporary black, I bought one.

Has Bluetooth and can work with home automation via bridge device sold Seperate.

    2nd gen model.

Walk up to your door and touch the lock to unlock !

    • Looks like they are damaged boxes or opened boxes. Probably only related to that one store.

    • +2

I have Kevo gen 1, They're quite unreliable, possibly why they have a few returned boxes. I'd say the yale deal is much better it will save you a life of frustration

      • I have a gen 2. It is quite unreliable too. Returned one after the lock got stuck. The new one worked for a few months but that too is playing up and I can't connect to it via bluetooth anymore. Currently it is a very expensive manual door lock.

      • I was also looking at the kevo, but read too many reports of people having issues after a few months which put me off. shame as they have some awesome features for the price.

  • Orient "Envoy II" Stainless Steel Japanese Automatic/Hand-Winding Dress Watch $203.24 (White - Gold) only.

I scored a blue model for $147 a few days ago. This one Is $203.24 (Was $404.23), but way cheaper than other colours at the moment.

    • This watch is further down to $157.75. Damn, I can’t post this as a deal as only 2 left.

  • Merged from [VIC] AEG 58V Four Port Dual Charger $100 (Was $399), Ryobi 36V Pressure Washer $131 (Was 269) Bunnings Warehouse, Vermont South
    Go to Deal

    Hello everyone

Just saw these deals- so sharing them.

-Also saw a demo Ryobi battery operated blower (just Skin) for $60 (down from $200 something)

    • How weird, I called and asked about the pressure washer and they said they had 3 available for sale but they were $179.

  • JB Hi-fi In-Store Bundle Negotiated Deal. Unsure if good or bad but thought I can post here. They had 19 units showing in-stock at the time of sale Sydney Warehouse.

    Samsung 82" 82RU8000WXXY $2185.00
Extended Warranty 3 additional years $131.00
EZYMOUNT VLM6600B XLARGE Full Motion $220.00
    Wall Mounted Installation $299.00
Crest Platinum 4 Socket Surge + TV Pro $65
    Delivery $0.00
    Total 2900.00

    • Bit hard to compare but I got the same TV on its own a few weeks ago for $2440 from Good Guys. In-store negotiated deal ($2999 on sale at the time). Might be useful for someone that searches the model and views this.

I'm sure if you attempted to remove all the up-sells the $2185 price wouldn't be held because that's where they made most of their money.

      • +1

You might be right although I was given the impression that they were under the pump to sell installations which cannot be discounted.

Included RRP of the upsells and the prices charged to me just in case anyone finds this post.

        • Extended Warranty 3 additional years (RRP $203) $131.00
        • EZYMOUNT VLM6600B XLARGE Full Motion (RRP $499) $220.00
        • Wall Mounted Installation RRP $299.00 (no discount)
        • Crest Platinum 4 Socket Surge + TV Pro (RRP $129) $65
        • Delivery for Mount and TV (was $60) $0.00

I still think it's a good deal in $2.9K for 82" RU8000 Samsung TV with extended warranty (total 5.5 years) + delivery + JB's top quality mount + installation + surge protector.

Ironically they were only upselling installation. I was the one after everything else because it's a new thing for me (don't have an old big TV that's being replaced)

        … wow it’s not a genuine deal for everyone… There’s no stock….
I encourage you to report this post as being insufficient quantity or out of stock.

    • +3

      Did u buy them all?

    • That is CHEAP!!! Available in NSW for $297.

      • It shows $297 on their website. It should show $35 on staff mini pad.

        • NO. You have provided a store stock link for the $297 model! There will be NONE at most stores, when you have punters thinking there are heaps, eg Tas Hobart has 11….@ $297….

    • I know what Im doing tomorrow. Can you price match other OW stores to this?

      • Unlikely to last till tomorrow

        • +1

Given most if not all NSW stores are closed now, I hope they do

    • Wow! JB Hifi has this at $297!

    • does officeworks pricebeat other officeworks?

      • +10

All stores nationwide have the same prices, it's just a case of is there any stock left. Something this late in the clearance cycle and this cheap means it's very unlikely that your local store will have stock. Based on the picture of the ticket that OP posted there's only one left, and that means OP bought the last one at this particular store.

        • not according to easternculture though, but I trust you more since you're associated with OW :), will give it a shot tomorrow

          • +5

@ln28909: Someone at a particular store can mark down products manually, but it's often not common for high value items like new headphones (at least at the one I worked at). Cases are often difficult to get rid of because every case only fits one or two models, so those sorts of items are more commonly manually marked down. Obviously if there's a price that's manually marked down then that won't apply nationwide,

In this case the product code listed (INBSOLO3WBK) is not on the website (or officeworks stock checker, the model INBSOLO3BK is technically different). This means it's fairly late in the clearance cycle and not just something that's been manually marked down by one store.

I'd suggest giving a call and quoting the correct product code written on the ticket (INBSOLO3WBK) not the incorrect one that OP listed at the top, and seeing if them or any nearby stores have stock. It's pretty unlikely at this point, so I'd save the drive unless they can confirm there's one there that's scanning for the correct price.

        • There's a ton of stock down in South Australia, so are you saying that the headphones will be priced at $35 here too?

          • +1

@dogsryummy: It’s a different product code. OP has linked stock on a different code at $297. The $35 ones are INSOLO3WBK. Stock check on these are invalid!

          • @dogsryummy: If they have the product code INBSOLO3WBK then they will be at the $35 price assuming the manager at OP's store didn't manually mark the prices down. If it's the code INBSOLO3BK then it'll be the regular price of $297.

      • Might still be worth checking

    • +3

Could book a return flight which would cost below the RRP hehe.

    • +3

Apparently its not a real price peeps, don't waste your time calling or going into store..

I've checked with both Joondas and Malaga

      • OP bought it from Malaga though right?

        • +4

He just doesn't want us going there and taking them all

          • @dotMonkey: Haha believe what you want.
I would have put 2 aside if the price was legit..
Spoke with attendants at both stores. Great find by the OP!
Right PLACE at the right time!!

        • Yes. I guess it was the last one at that particular branch

          • @MOTORCAR: was the other colour also on clearance, or was there none left?

      • Calling is the stupidest thing to do. I used to work at Target and if someone like you called us with a price this crazy we would just tell you no and take them all off the shelf then divi up with other staff.

    • +2

      Old stock version maybe?

If so, might not be worth wasting your time on. Bigw were clearing some old beats lines for around the same price a while back. Bought some but the battery had been sitting so long they couldnt be charged.

    • +3

Surely this is a price error? I mean the Beats house sound is garbage, but this still seems off.

    • It's store specific

I bought some ipad pro cases for $4 from greenacre. Went to Punchbowl and they scanned $80

    • It’s really cheapo..

    • called in o connor, no luck. must be one off

      • Call Jandakot for me and I’ll buy you a pair if they have them

        • Is it in store only? Their online store has $297 ?

      • Was just about to head to O’Connor store so thanks for heads up

      • I call bullshit, your comment was posted 53 minutes ago and that Officeworks closes at 7pm which was over an hour ago. Am I missing something here?

    • +3

I believe the one OP picked up is this one: (2018 model)

      Part Number MP582PA/A

And the current one available at Officeworks for $297

      has this Part Number MX432PA/A

JB HiFi has the old part number (??)
      https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/beats-solo-3-wireless-on-…

    • This is a mad price!

    • I was in Officeworks North Ryde this morning and was looking round the headphone section. Didn't notice any yellow clearance tags, so I suspect it's not all stores.

      • +2

Should still scan up at the clearance price if they have the exact model number…. according to earlier posts/predictions anyway

    • Buy online using 28degree. Then do a price Protection claimed.

    • +1

Do you have a picture of the receipt possibly OP?
