I have banned exercise from my life too.

    • Looks like they had only 3 in stock for Australia

    • Hell yes price protection thanks OP!

    • Got a black one from Gregory Hills 2557. Checking back it says limited stock in the stores list but can't check out.

      • My order has come down from Saturday to Friday to be able to pickup but status had changed to backorder. Maybe they don't have any instock at the store.

        • Same here, changed to backorder. Collection date changed from sat-fri-mon-tues. i hope they don’t cancel it.

    • Bought one, don't need it but still..

      Weight: 4.6kg

      • Yeah that is pretty heavy, although the larger hard side cases tend to be heavy, it impacts on how much your can pack, could be 15-20% of your check in allowance depending on carrier.

Merged from Google Pixel 4 128GB $349 (Clearance) @ Officeworks
    Go to Deal

Noticed this in Darwin store this morning, but had just sold the last one an hour ago. Website doesnt support clearance price but you may get lucky in your local store. Getting ready for latest release I assume.

    • +10

May get removed if insufficient quantity but damn that's a good price.

    • Is that dual sim?

      • Doesn't look like it.

      • +2

I think one physical slot and one eSim

        • This.

          Source: I have a Pixel 4

    • +5

anyone know how to get this in Vic?

    • +1

That is a brilliant price. I've got the Pixel 4 XL and love it….. I'd grab one for the wife if I could.

      • +6

The battery life in the 4 (not xl) is atrocious dude. One of the worst experiences I've had in over a decade.

        • +1

Everyone's usage pattern is different I know, for me I charge my 4 XL to 80% before I unplug it and that lasts me 2 days before it goes down to 20%. I have to say I don't use my phone a lot though.

Pre-COVID the same charge pattern lasts me over 1 day easily.

          • +2

@chewkl: Yes, the 4XL is great, it's the 4 that isn't. That's what I said in the comment.

        • do tell

          • +1

@eriklee: S10e would barely get me through a day of some web browsing, messaging, calls etc. Pixel 4 (non xl) would last me almost half a day of the same use.

S10e does not have great battery life FYI.

        • This. After 3xl and now 4, next phone will be under the Samsung banner again :(

      • Weird. My comment reply to the comment above keeps going to this one.

Yup confirmed. Comments in reply to mmjjbb above gets directed as replies to this comment instead. Weird.

      • Second this. I need a new phone and this will do.

  • Merged from [WA] Duracell 9V Coppertop Batteries 5 Pack - $7.98 @ Bunnings Melville
    Go to Deal

Saw 5pk of 9V Duracell Coppertops for $7.98.
Scanned through at $9 but got it adjusted to $7.98
This was at the tool shop in Bunnings Melville , not sure if other Bunnings have this too.

    • That's cheap. Normally around $10 for the 3

    • What's the expiry date on them? Might be short-dated stock someone found that had fallen down the back of some pallet racking.

      • +1

I checked a few packets and they had expiry date of 11-2024

    • -1

Duracell battery leaks. Don’t risk it.

      • All batteries can leak so don't trust ANY of them and make sure to retrofit a fusion reactor for peace of mind.

      • True, but I don't think that I've ever seen a 9v battery leak of any brand.

      • awful these days

    Hi,

I saw these items being sold at clearance price last Saturday at JB HIFI at Chatswood Chase but stocks are very limited. Sony MHC-M60D has only 2 items while Sony MHC-V72D has 1 left. If interested, I suggest calling the store first to make sure that they are still available and pay for it before pick-up.

Found this in stock in Carseldine Woolies (Last one in store, not sure abt stock levels in other store, worth checking if u have time.) Looking for a spare phone to use Overseas Sim card for incoming SMS. (Phone locked to Boost and Telstra will switch off 3G in 2024)

I know this is not a great phone in 2020, but does the job for me being a Samsung S5 user.

Imagine getting Officeworks to price beat. A true hero

      • My Bad, officeworks one is only 512mb /4GB, this is 1gb/8gb. updated spec link. Locked to boost

    • Locked to Boost Mobile only?
      Will Telstra/Belong work?

      • Any telstra network reseller OK.

You can get an unlock code on ebay for a couple of $

        • +5

          Thats more than the phone!

          • @Trojan: Indeed, but the money you've saved on the phone can be parlayed on the code.

      stock availability is an issue

    • How's playing youtube videos on this phone? I could hotspot wifi for my kid to watch videos on

    • No stock anywhere. Is anyone else able to find stock anywhere?

      • Tried a few and couldn't find any. Suspect this might just be a clearance of whatever minimal stock they had.

      • Yes, I found stock of it in Woolworths Marryatville SA
There's also a similar Telstra branded one for $1 as well

    • +9

I don't care for the phone I just want the usb cable. Bargain for $1.

    • Buy it for the uber eats first time free delivery

    • Went to two stores in Melbourne (Williams Landing, and Point Cook)

      Williams Landing store has stock.
The checkout lady scanned it, saw it was $1, called her boss.
About 4 employees sorrounded me checking the price.
Her boss saw the phone scanned at $1, called HER boss.

I showed them the receipt for proof and it scanned as $1 in front of them.
They refused to sell me the phone regardless, first claiming the receipt to be "interstate" but then just saying the can't do it…….

Told me "come back tomorrow morning to have a word with management if you like, I can't sell you the phone"

Point cook lady didnt even bother looking for stock, just said "maybe we don't have that in stock"

      Devo'd

      • if you actually look the stand where they hang the prepaid cards, there was a Boucher which states the price as $1. They have to honour it, I would lounge a complaint on those staff members.

You should have recorded it and uploaded in youtube and twitter which would have earned you some money :)

        • I didn't go inside as I was buying ciggies, so was just standing outside at the counter when I asked for the phone along with my ciggies

If what you're saying is right though, then the staff defs should have seen the $1 sticker.
I saw the staff look at the display before finding the phone in the cabinet.

They just refused to finalize the sale and would not believe a $69 phone could be a $1

I thought about filling a complaint, but over $1?

Meh, I'll try tomorrow and see if they'll honour it.
That is, if one of the OzBargainers don't snipe me on the deal lol

I'm not gonna lose any sleep over it though

    • Good as a music player (that can connect to spotify, apple music, etc) for the gym. If it breaks, no biggie.

  • Merged from Lenovo Smart Clock E27 Starter Pack $79.20 @ Officeworks
    Go to Deal

Just saw the deal posted at the good guys for the Lenovo smart clock essential at $59 and thought I'd take a peek to see if it can be pricematched. found this on clearance instead. Considering the Lenovo smart clock it self is being sold for $78, looks like a good deal to add $1.20 for a smart bulb and smart plug.

Note this is the Lenovo smart clock and not the smart clock essential mentioned in the other deal.

    • +3

      Not available online

    • I bought one of these clocks refurbished from Gray's online for $40. They're ok, I'd say the speaker is slightly tinnier than a Google home mini.

If you've got the budget, the Google Nest/Home Hub are occasionally under $99 and a lot more useful.

    • +3

My clocks constantly disconnecting from wifi, the power cord gets dislodged with the slightest bump, when casting like something like spottily to it, it constantly disconnects after one or two songs, I find mine frustrating and now just use it to light the room and to control google home when it wants to work basically.

      • +1

Thanks for the feedback. Saved me the purchase.
