      • did you check if your earwax is clogging up the tip? if you're into IEMs you'll know its a common issue with sound degradation in one ear due to earwax blockage.

      Overall good headphones at this price, I have owned them for 2 years and they have served me well. They fit nicely, battery life is good, sound quality and passive noise cancellation is good. Sometimes they randomly make screeching noises (usually on startup) and I have never figured out why. I don't rate the microphone, people on calls have told me it is awful.

      Occasionally they suffer from interference from nearby devices, in particular the LED strip lights I have set up in my room completely destroy the signal on these headphones. Also as I walk around the CBD they sometimes randomly cut out for a fraction of a second due to interference from security barriers at the front of shops and other strong EM sources.

  • Just got back from Target Carlingford NSW where they had a single Lego 42097 Compact Crawler Crane. Sticker price was $169 but for some reason it scanned at $99 and 25% extra in clearance toys and homewares, so it came in at just under $75.

    If you see one in your local, try scanning it!

    No other Lego I scanned had any discount

  • Merged from Telstra Oppo A5 2020 $50 and Other Clearance Smartphones (In Store Only) @ Kmart
    Go to Deal

    Similar to the deal from Feb, looks like Kmart is clearing out another lot of their Android phones.

    Spotted at Kmart Clayton (Vic) and Stud Park (Vic), there were multiple makes and models on clearance. Not 100% sure if it is nation wide, but I did confirm the same price at both Vic locations.

    Oppo A5 2020 Green - $50 is the 4GB RAM 64GB Storage model and is locked to Telstra. Telstra is selling the exact same model for $229, and Big W has it even more expensive. It comes with Android 9, but is upgradable to Android 10.
    Specs - https://www.gsmarena.com/oppo_a5_(2020)-9883.php

    Also spotted on sale were the following (but I'm not sure on Stock):

    • Unlocked LG K30 Black for $30
    • Xiaomi Redmi 9 Bundle with the Mi Band 4 (I think?) for $90
    • Unlocked Huawei Y5 2019 Black for $40

    Check your local store for stock. Happy hunting!

    • No stock at Doncaster VIC and it would seem, no stock at you stores either OP, from your photo, of the phones you mentioned (except for two K30's perhaps).

    • says no longer available to buy in store or on line …..if it’s not in store that mean all stock is gone ?

      if you can’t check online then which store has stock ?

    • This item is no longer available to buy online or in-store on all links.

      OP - thanks for posting but probably needs title updated to your local store where you bought yours, if still available.

      • There are available on some stores, just that it doesn't show stock. There were 2 pieces in one store marked with a higher price, I bought one and the website was the same - no stock, they sold it to me with the website price.

    • Bench grinders are priced $149 at Dural and in stock, might drop by and see if they will let it go for 1/2 price. Thanks OP

            Thanks @ob1wan, I think!

    • I also got one. I smell pricing error lol

      • eBay prices suggest they missed a digit, but in that case they also missed a digit when the price was $99 (Google cache copy of the page, estimate it is approx 3 days old or longer).

      Deal of the year! The box itself is going for half the price ($66) LOL

      https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/254979527903?hash=item3b5df6d4df…

      Likely price error. Market pricing is around $700-$900.

    • +4

      Just a heads up, you'll find that you'll most likely receive the mouse only. The drop downs in the cached view indicate that you needed to select "Genuine Apple" for it to be the actual computer. Whereas your link was for the mouse dropdown which was $69 vs $1.1k for the computer before it went OOS.

      Hopefully I'm wrong, but that seems to be the case that the dropdown was for the mouse only vs a computer with a mouse separately.

      • +1

        You're right.

        My invoice says: "Apple iMac 21.5 inch, Grade:Good; Option 2:Genuine Apple Mouse 2 only".

        Now how do we cancel? :o

      • That was my feeling while making the order, however the description states:

        In the box:

        Apple iMac
        Power Cord
        Apple Magic Keyboad (A1644)
        Apple Magic Mouse 2 (A1657)

        The order says:

        Apple iMac 21.5 inch, Grade:Excellent; Option 2:Genuine Apple Keyboard only

        The dropdown was to select the peripheral to be included. As you could chose if you wanted keyboard or keyboard + mouse

        • That's quite odd, well then I hope for everyone's sake it works out really well and it comes through. Just something I noticed and thought it was an error, but maybe I'm wrong :)

          • @doweyy: Nah I think you're right. They just messed up the listing description. Should be easy to cancel/dispute.

            • @Feeblely: If not, flipping the mouse on eBay is fine too.

          • @doweyy: What is a "compatible" apple for $100 less? Haha. Horrible dropdown :)

        • 100% agree, it is a weird listing. And as you said, easy to dispute

          What does even mean "Compatible" in the drop down list??

          • @ob1wan: Anyone screenshot the options? I didn't notice any specific options, only grade.

            • @rompastompa: @doweyy posted the web cache page link: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:https:/… you can click it and review the options when they were avaialble

              • @ob1wan: Yea, I think it was Genuine Apple, so I didn't register they were talking about a mouse.

                Edit: Actually, there's no mouse option there, maybe that's what the 'Compatible meant'. Perhaps we clicked on Compatible?

                • +1

                  @rompastompa: Whatever we clicked on is in the order email or PDF receipt you can generate when logged into MyDeal - Mine says "Apple iMac 21.5 inch, Grade:Good; Option 2:Genuine Apple Mouse 2 only"

          • @ob1wan: "Compatible" probably means a bundled generic keyboard and mouse that works with the iMac.

        • I contacted MyDeal support and this is their reply - "Thanks for contacting Perfect Preowned. Please be advised this order is for Refurbished Apple iMac Retina 4K 21.5" (Mid 2017) with Apple Magic Keyboad and Apple Magic Mouse 2."

          They're probably using third party customer service, who couldn't actually verify what the item in my order is, so I'm still doubtful we'll receive an entire iMac.

          • @Lukian: Thanks for sharing the update. I guess I will wait and see :)

            Dispute with PayPal is on the cards for me so not concerned at all.

          • +1

            @Lukian: I also contacted MyDeal support and they confirmed that I will receive:

            In the box:
            * Apple iMac 21.5" 2017,
            * Power Cord,
            * Apple Magic Keyboad (A1644),
            * Apple Magic Mouse 2 (A1657)

            As per description.

            So, at least I have it in writing if/when it doesn't turn up! :)

            • +3

              @rompastompa: I've got a dispatched notification.

              Seems they are using AusPost (Parcel Post) by the look of it. Tracking info just shows pending though.

              Will keep you guys updated.

              • @ob1wan: "Thank you for shopping with MyDeal. The seller “Perfect PreOwned” has processed a refund amount of -$69.00 AUD for your order. This refund will be reverted to your original payment method."

                :(

                • @Feeblely: That's a shame.

                  I won't call out victory until I see what actually arrives at my front door

                  • +3

                    @ob1wan: Got mine delivered today. Mouse only. Will lodge dispute now

                    • +1

                      @Jaduqimon: Also a mouse only here.

                    • @Jaduqimon: How did your dispute go?

                      • +1

                        @rompastompa: still waiting for response.

                      • @rompastompa: The customer service is horrible (as expected), but quickly managed to get them to give me a link to generate an Auspost prepaid return label (for full refund).

                        • @Lukian: I also messaged them telling them the description made it sound like it was 21.5" + keyboard/mouse, but only a genuine mouse and compatible keyboard, and that they previously confirmed the full contents of the box as per description.

                          They were happy enough to send through the Auspost return label too. I thought there customer service wasn't too bad (besides incorrectly confirming above).

                          Providing the full refund comes through then nothing lost, nothing gained :) (I half expected to pay postage + restocking fee, and a fight pursuing!)

                          • +1

                            @rompastompa: Yes, they suggested I would need to pay return postage and restocking fee ($15) due to "change of mind" return (hah) until I re-pointed out the incorrect listing. Yikes.

                          • +1

                            @rompastompa: Full refund received for me.

                            • @Lukian: Same (in PayPal, yet to see it in my bank though).

                • @Feeblely: Was this via paypal? Did you have to return the item?

                  • @Lukian: No, they never shipped the item. Guess you guys ordered all the mice originally!

    Bought one of these chargers for $9.99 after holding off on this deal, seeing that it looked pretty much identical, same specs, only no UK plug (which I don't need). Figured that if I did find anything wrong with it as the one review suggested I would, it's an easy refund / free return and refund. Arrived the following day after ordering (shipped by Amazon) and it matches the product images, AU/EU adapters included, and all four ports seem to be working perfectly, fast charging an S8+ on both PD and QC ports.

    So yeah, seems that reviewer either got a dud or he's full of it. Apparently only a few left so get in quick if you want one.
