Considering Target Dubbo closed down, yeah.

    • Is this likely to be nationwide?

    • Weird question but what phone do you have? The quality of that photo was pretty nice hehe

      • Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3

        • Nice!! I knew it was good haha

@Zackeroo: I actually loathe it and can't wait to go back to a Pixel. 😔

      Perfect for cheating spouses.

      • Speaking from experience?

        • +2

I've got the perfect strategy for dealing with cheating spouses and that is to pretend it never happened, so I don't recall ever being cheated on.

    • I hope to find a couple to replace old phones doing duty around the place as nntp-accurate clocks and smart security cameras. The old ones are starting to get bloated batteries and are probably due for an upgrade!

    • Will it work with aldi?

      • only boost

    • You reckon if I go 2mrw, it will still be available ?

    • I guess locked to Telstra and won't work with Belong, Aldi, Woolworths etc but should work with Boost Mobile?

    • With only 1GB RAM I would be surprised if this could even load Android properly

    • Usually they are cheap for a reason. Do your research if considering buying.

It's absolutely perfect for my use case to the point that, based on initial testing overnight, I'm going to see if I can get a couple more today.

just for the OP you might want to get that mole checked on your thumb.

      • Bless ya. It's actually a scar from a recent oil-spatter burn.

I'm up on burners, playa. Too many crazies had my old number, so now I'm all about disposable cell phones. I'll use one for a while, have my fun, then dump it and get a new one. And then I'll do the same with my phone.

Quick post - Clearance item at Bunnings Villawood NSW - possibly at other stores, don't know. I wouldn't pay $249 for RRP for something like this but for $49 it may suit some . ( There were 4 available before I left )

    Go to Deal

Watched this for a couple of days and purchased one this evening.
States there is only x2 - but I don't believe it's accurate. I've seen this on Amazon AU before and there is often more stock.

Purchased more than the reported stock holding and had the ordered qty delivered other times in the past.

Anyways, roll the dice if you like and try to pick one up!

Cheapest i've seen before is $120… and dont forget cash back plugin's…

(Admin - mark as you wish, but as I said, stock doesn't appear to be updating or there is more than a handful).

  • Merged from Asus TUF RX 6900 XT O16G Gaming Graphics Card $1599 Delivered @ Amazon AU
    Go to Deal

Lowest price for this card I think?
    Only 4 left in stock

    Also, 6800xt $1509

    • It has been 1599 and below a few times in the last month. So I'd consider it the new norm.

    • Been on Amazon at this price for a week now. Been hesitant as it arrives end of April.

      • +1

Doesn't it say the delivery date is the 5th of April?

    • Wait for 6950xt and this will be further lower cos rumors saying msrp for 6950xt would be lower than this

      • +1

Considering the insanity that the 3090ti just released at, I doubt it.

    • 3080 at around 1300 is better, DLSS and Ray tracing

    • +2

      https://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/buy/gigabyte-radeon-rx-69…

Shopping Express have the gigabyte 6900XT for 1699 with 10% off storewide = 1529.10. FYI.

Postage extra, but showed $15 for me.

      • Suggest giving the Gigabyte a miss If you value your sanity. That particular model is hot & noisy beast.

      • If you don't care for DLSS and RTX ray tracing then this is a good buy. 16GB VRAM is a nice extra in the 6900XT that the 3080 12Gb and 3080 Ti don't have. I'm happy with my recent 3080 Ti purchase but this would be tempting.

  • Merged from DraftStoppa for Exhaust Fans $3.35 @ Bunnings Warehouse. Clearance
    Go to Deal

Found these on clearance at Bunnings Frankston. I got the last one, however they may be at other stores. These usually sell for around $50 online.

They are in the ventilation isle. Between plumbing and the timber section.

    • I think I'd rather keep a flued exhaust to protect my roof timber. But for modern houses this product would be worthwhile

      • +2

Well, of course you wouldn't disconnect your ducting to install this. But since a lot of exhaust fans have no ducting and just vent into the dusty roof cavity, this is better than nothing, and very simple to install.

    • +1

I have a few of these and they do the job much better than the other version they had - a round cap that needed a lot of air pressure to make it pop.

The only issue is on windy days they do flap a bit as air pressure inside the the house gets greater than in the roof cavity… but they are still doing their job. I'm mainly concerned about hot air & dust coming back into the house.

    • +1

I just recently got these installed for free under the victorian energy upgrade program, similar to those led light replacement program that do door knocking

      • +1

Any more details on this? Wouldn't mind having it done

    • +1

I can't believe anyone payed $50 for these. I have 4 and got them all second hand for a few dollars.
They would have cost $2 to make.

      • +2

People need to make a living. Imagine if you got paid nothing for your time, only the raw material cost of whatever you produce..

      • They probably cost less than that in materials.

But what about the land for the factory, the factory, the tooling to make the product, employees, the cardboard box, the warehouse, the freight to Australia, logistics and distribution, profit.

Then you have the costs for Bunnings plus profit.

Not sure if this is a pricing error as it says 1/2 price. But $16 / 2 does not equal $3.19

    • Same price at my local but no stock

    • +10

very tempting price but looks like landfill, same with kmart

      • Honestly I’ve bought more expensive stuff that’s ‘better quality’ and it’s no better than kmart. That’s why, i swear by kmart for many things and don’t care if it breaks in a year.

I agree thats it’s terrible for sustainability but the expensive stuff gets turfed in much the same time.

        Ymmv

        • No coated non-stick pans last forever anyway so you're in the same boat with a lot of similar products regardless of the brand/cost.

          • @dust: "What is the non-stick coating?
There are materials that have been used that are harmful to humans, and the description doesn't provide any details about this except that it's 'non-stick coating'

            • @capslock janitor: Sutely they cant use stuff in these things that are harmful to humans?

    • Aren't the 11-series the ones most reviews say to avoid as they're rebadged 10-series ones? Either get 10-series for cheaper or jump to 12-series is the most common suggestion.

      • +2

They are not rebadged but, they tend to game worse, run hotter, clock worse than the 10th gen counter parts. Also the i9 has 2 less cores. But don't worry guys pcie 4.0 support…..

    • This thing runs at 300w under heavy load, I would avoid. Benchmark wise even the 12600 would either match or beat this. Stay away.
