anyone have a Target receipt they can upload?

      Thanks

      • Curious how you will use this (I'm after the same)

    • Awesome, now just the hunt to try and find stock :(

    • No stock Rockingham W.A.

    • No stock at chermside or toombul. Employees there said they haven't had it in stock for awhile.

      • Brisbane CBD said same thing

        • Cheers, saved me a walk there lol

    • Is there an online Link as I cannot find it ?

      • Can someone advise the link ? The local store (Macquarie Centre) are not sure about this product. If there is a link online, I will be able to check the stock locally around the area.

        • Target's website often removes the pages for clearance products.

    • +1

1m with USB scans as $15 at Target Morayfield, QLD
North Lakes, QLD don’t stock the item as far as the staff member knew.

    • +3

      Here is the receipt

      https://imgur.com/a/p1DTAMf

      • from the receipt how can i tell that's the product?

        • You can show them OP price ticket together with my receipt.

      • Anyone bought using this receipt at Office Works?

    • -5

Are the extension cables interchangeable? If so, does anyone want trade a 3m for a 1.5m (I have a 1.5m)?

      Based in Sydney.

    • I bought this back on 04/10 @ Merrylands, NSW for $5 too. It was the last one they had. I just checked it again and it turns out my one only has 2 power outlets and 2 USB lmao! -_-

    • Brilliant!

    • Says on your receipt $2900

      • Fixed. Thanks

      • plus 110 delivery…

        seriously should be 2500

        • From perth to margaret river

    • +1

Is this the cheapest 65 OLED ever on ozbargain ?

    • I cant find it on the website?

    • $2300 odd cheaper than I paid a year ago. A good buy.

    • don't think it ever got the promised firmware update to 10 plus from Panasonic either…..

still a little microstutter as well?

    • Finished model doubt theres much stock around if its removed from website..

    • I believe this may be a negotiated deal.

      • +1

Would this not be accepted at other JB stores based on the agreed-upon price?

        • +1

wouldnt that just mean you haggled the price?
I personally wouldnt advertise a haggled down price on here because it's not advertised on their platform and if someone walks into a store saying my mate bought this TV for $XXXX amount, I want to buy it for that price aswell, it'd vary heavily depending on the store and who you talk to

        • Not usually.. depends if the managers are desperate to take the hit on gp for the store.

        • +2

Like solidussnake said, it would depend on the individual stores and staff members. It could have been a display model or a repack/return. This does not appear to be the case based on the notes, but circumstances may exist.

    • +1

Every store i have called has said $3495 on clearance

    • +2

Should be moved to forum if it's a negotiated price.

    • +1

Much better than the LG. Harder to swing but far less scratchy.

      • +1

How exactly is it better than the LG C8/E8?

        • +2

Maybe explain why rather than be a smart ass?

        • +2

LG firmware is disgusting. So are their CPU. I've had 3 top of the line LGs fail withing 3 months due to issues with the CPU.

Yes LG have the best OLED panels but do not make the best TVs.

Panasonic & Sony have the best TVs

          • -1

@Suspect420: Sorry guys n gals, I was listening to the cricket… aaaaand couldn't help myself.

Screw LG though, I will never forget a bloke telling me years ago on a smoke break at work about how just about all his LG gear started carking it not long after warranties ran out.

            • @OneMoreTune: I’ve had all LG panels and have never had an issue my current lg is going on 4 years and I still have an lg tv that’s been running for 8years

            • @OneMoreTune: I had that with my Samsung gear. Luckily they were very good to me with repairing for free given it was juuuusst outside warranty. But it does put me off Samsung in general.

          • @Suspect420: Have to disagree on Sony's. Probably the worst example of running Android on TV and they look/feel cheeply made.

    • +2

I've just called another store and after a few minutes they've agreed to match the price.

Cheers OP, not that I really needed a new TV!

      • +12

Enjoy mate. That was the whole point me uploading invoice. Some people are complaining about quantity or not on jb website. Yes i went to 5 stores in perth for to get to this price.

Mods can do whatever with this post delete or move. But iam happy i helped someone get best price. Like so many other on ozbargain have helped me in the past.

        Cheers.

        • Good man. Impressed you went store to store to get a bargain.

There was a bit of a back and forth with the manager, asked if it was floor stock etc.
Eventually came back with the thumbs up!

Now I'm just wondering if this or the KD65A8F with the screen speaker would have been better, but quite sure I'll be happy when it's delivered tomorrow!

          • +1

@shankur: This is the top of the range from last year.this tv won most of the av awards in uk last year.

You getting a soundbar included in deal "technically" and no other brand have better color accuracy then panasonic.

This has absolute black filter like 2018 models and a better remote then 2018 models or sony.

Sony's tonemaping isn't aas good as this for hdr.

This has 2 tuner (for someone that's +1)
I bought for my home theater later when i get projector or oled 77"( if i found deal like this)I'll move this to living and won't need a soundbar.
And most i haven't fount a8f for around 3000 marks.

If you care about true color then this. Otherwise any other oled.

Makesure you manually download and update a patch for 24fps content which this tv had problem with when came out.

            • @Manojkbanga: Where is this patch you talk about, I’ve got the the fz950 but haven’t noticed any 24p problem

            • @Manojkbanga: It's getting delivered today. Updating as simple as connecting to wifi and hitting update?

              • @shankur: Those updates aareaare called OTA. This is the only one you have to do manually. Here are instructions to follow.
                http://av.jpn.support.panasonic.com/support/global/cs/tv/dow…

                • @Manojkbanga: Cheers, strange this one is via USB. I am set up and rocking :)

                  • @shankur: Make sure you watch planet earth 2 and blue planet. As a must for any new oled owner. Enjoy mate. Mine being delivered Wednesday. Can't wait

                    • @Manojkbanga: I tired but audio isn't working on them for me? Won't play 5.1 DTS, so it's reverting to dual mono which is a foreign language in each case. Any idea how I fix that? Short of extracting the audio tracks and downsampling.

      • Which shop mate?
        Looking for the same model

        Cheers

    • +2

      Thought technics were turntables?

    • Common 75” oled at friendly price!

    • My ST60 appears to be exhibiting a lot more burn-in these days… I have a feeling it could be on its last legs. This could be a good replacement!

      • That's a great tv.

    • This and the new Sony A9F are the only OLED models to consider buying. The rest have many issues, especially with ABL and dim brightness.

      • This makes me feel better I didn't get the A8F.

      • -1

        C8 doesn't have those issues.

    • So, is it even worth trying to negotiate with my local JBs?

      • With a order number my local JB matched the price.

        • Order number? The OPs order number?

          • +1

@gasman70: Yep, they can look it up in the system, see it wasn't floor stock etc.

    • I went to the same store in Belmont who said there were only 2 left and matched it. When I pointed out the receipt which I had printed out from here was from the same store he asked to keep it to show the original salesperson that they were ozbargain famous.

      Cheers to OP.

      • More like he is going to get in trouble for destroying their GM.

        • +1

No hope he won't. He's a nice man. And helped most of us.

    • Good old Belmont. Good to see my local store is ozbargain famous.

    • Most likely they are all sold. As they only had 4 or 5 yesterday new in box but almost every store has one on display

    • Not the Best Oled TV if you want to Game = input lag

      • Wrong, all oled tvs currently have the same 22ms input lag which is very low.

    • Bought the 55 inch pana oled fz950 for $1,695 plus $55 delivery. They price matched Costco.

  • Merged from [VIC] Ozito Electric Mower & Line Trimmer Kit $49 (Was $99) @ Bunnings Fountain Gate
    Go to Deal

This deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/413548 half price at Fountain Gate VIC

One left after I grabbed one, not sure if it’s nationwide?

I can’t decide if I can be bothered to drag a cable around me or not. Good value for $49 though.

Link to original product - https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-electric-lawn-mower-and-li…

    • god thats cheap,

    • Cable is a pita… Used mine 5 times went bought petrol.

      • petrol is less PITA agreed, best solution though: brushless running on rechargable batteries (OZito or ALDI)

      • +1

I have petrol now but it’s kinda heavy and annoying to maintain. Wanted something lightweight and non petrol. Would prefer battery tbh but deal was too good.

      • +2

Cable isn't so much the problem as much as power. Petrol mowers begin at around 5kw, while electric is limited to 2.4kw by the power point. As a result, all electric consumer tools are just gimped versions of their petrol guzzling brethren. They are really only suited to those pathetically small gardens of a few m2 that you find behind duplex's. Anything else, and the thin plastic chassis and flimsy wheels tend to buckle and break.

But at $50 for 2 tools, it'll work in a pinch.

        • servicin mowers? i just kep the oil topped up and who cares about it. Still cuts my grass after 20 years

        • Agree with all, apart from my lawns being pathetic. Flymo already lasted 12 years with zero hassle or maintenance. So quiet, no smell, starts instantly.

Mow away from a long lead, don't shove the mower, and keep the green bin nearby (catcher fills FAST due to weak throw).

I have preferences for all tools. But I've also got grit, a rare commodity in 2018. Gimme anything, and I'll get the job done without a whine.

    • +2

This was an amazing deal at $99! Can't believe it's dropped to half that price. They must really suck!

      • +1

Let's not assume it's half price nationwide, this particular store is just clearing stock.

        • Yeah, but it might be the same price elsewhere. Can you find out by calling your local Bunnings? I'm curious to try it… could be a great bargain if my local offers it at that price too…

    • Cheap for a reason?

    • +1

I’ve got the next model up 1400 watts and I find it fine. My block is just over 800m2. I hate mowing so let the grass grow quite long between cuts (like 100-400mm) and it manages it fine. I also got the next trimmer up, but don’t like it as much as the mower. It’s a bit front heavy as there’s no motor behind you like with a petrol one to counter balance it. Supposedly auto line advance but jams. Easy to stop and sort that out though. I only find the cord a minor nuisance. The light mower weight is great.

I reckon for 600m2 block or less this set would be fine.

    • Compared to the toxic fumes coming from my petrol one the electric one I got from Aldi is so much more comfortable to use. Cable isn't a big deal (I'm sure that opinion might change once I cut through a cable or two…).

      • +1

        If you survive

        • Been watching too many movies

    • It’s crap bought one

      • is it worth the $50?

    • +1

The power is a bit weak, I got a 1400w version, but the warranty is pretty good since you can return it within 3 years if it stops back to bunnings and it is as light as a toy version of it. When it gets too full and stalls the shutoff prevents it from turning back on for a few minutes as a "overheat protection".

Also buying a Separate 25m extension cord so I could reach my whole yard(mower cord give 0 extra at only 30cm length) and waving it about to stop it getting mowed over is a nag.

  • Merged from Apple AirPods $199 Delivered @ Crazy or What (Pricematch at OW $189.05)
    Go to Deal

Not as good as the Shopping Express deal from early last week but still a decent saving nonetheless.

Found the link to these AirPods through this original thread on OZB.

Went into Officeworks Airport West, showed them the AirPods page on Crazy Or What and was in and out within 10 minutes with a new pair of AirPods @ $189.05

Originally attempted to get them to price match the AirPods that I found here but was knocked back due to different product codes.

      Not that crazy.

      • True but what is crazy is paying RRP.
