    • 150km away :(

    • +1

      4000 kms for me :(

    • would be great if it near by. would of grab them all for the solar panel

    • LOL that eBay price quote is pretty meaningless.
I bought one of these on clearance months ago for $15.

      • All i could find to compare via a quick google… wouldnt say meaningless

    • +1

      143km from me, crowdfund?

    • Bought one for 35. Have not installed.

      • 10000% off in your case 😏

        Much like reverse $SHIBA

    • +2

there should be dozens left in most states (https://nrby.in/bunnings/0038095), but the price wont be 0.35 everywhere. I got 3 from Stafford for $5 each. The solar panel outputs 5v through a bullet plug and the main unit has a 2500mAh 18650 on a 2 pin plug.

      • Damn that's a no brainer at that price. I bought similar ones for $2 and theve been great (apart from a few issues)

One thing I've found is that small solar panels aren't designed for Australian UV, so they go cloudy in a year or two. I'm in the process of experimenting with a clear UV resistant coating to see if that stops it

        • I’d be interested in seeing those results.

        • clear UV resistant coating to see if that stops it

If it's resisting the UV by blocking it entirely, then be prepared for the panel output to drop dramatically 😎

          • @Nom: Mmm, yes that's a big part of what I want to test. I'm hoping its a drop of less than 10%

        • Not sure why it was moved to insufficient quantity deals… heaps of stock

    • +1

I checked Moorabbin VIC. They had them but they were $10 each. Which is still pretty decent

  • +2

Bunnings Mentone, 16 solar path lights for $5
    https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/24621/100321/img_20221…

Are they garbage that will barely last a year, and be disappointing the whole time? YES! But they're cheap garbage. Each unit comes to less than 30c, and features a solar panel, 130mh aaa nicd battery, and charging circuitry/led

it was $349 2 and half years ago, i cant imagine how dead those batteries will be
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/555413

      • That one wasn't self propelled, so probably different stock

      • Apart from being different models. Yes there's a 100% chance the batteries are 2 years old and are completely ruined already after sitting around because they didn't sell when the last deal was posted!

        • +1

Not sure about you but 2 years of sitting around doesn't ruin a 4ah battery if it's started the 2 years around 60%. It might be flat by now, but unless the battery is flat or fully charge then it's considered properly stored, and we all know that Li-ion batteries are among the best at holding their charge

          • +1

@Jackson: I thought the sarcasm might be obvious with

            Apart from being different models

            • @spaceflight: Sorry mate, it's late here 😂

For anyone else's benefit I bought my brushless with a 3aH that I have been flogging for years and it's still going, mayrb not as long as it used to but quite decent

              • +1

@Jackson: Don't feel bad, I missed it too. I think sarcasm works better when its sardonic. It does not belong with exclamation points imo

    • +3

3 units does not make a deal unfortuntely

      • Unless you use the words "this could be national, check your local store".

        • It's still not a deal unless it comes true

    • @dannyboi back away slowly from the Bunnings…

    • +1

One of the major advantages of switching to a cordless mower is less weight but these are nearly as heavy as my petrol mower.

      • +2

Personally I'd cop a little extra weight for a metal deck… Plastic deck mowers just seem destined to be on kerbside pickup in 5 years time imo.

        • +1

I have had mine 4 nd it's still going strong

        • Getting 5 years out of a $300 complete lawnmower kit with batteries and charger is a W in my books

        • +2

My plastic deck Ryobi is 5 years old now and still performs and feels like it did when new. Pretty good IMO when the only maintenance has been charging the batteries and sharpening the blade a couple of times a year.

The last Insufficient Quantity Deal for this lawn mower was $299.

    • Which store anyways?

    • Are these decent? I seriously need to upgrade my little Victa and am already in the Ozito ecosystem and love the idea of going electric.

Merged from Mens Merino Wool Travel Polo Blue $21 (Small: Available for Delivery, Other Sizes: C&C Only) @ Decathlon
    Go to Deal

    Only one color but

    According to website Main fabric:

    27% Acrylic
    11% Polyamide
    62% Wool

Only 62% merino wool? Still not a bad deal imo, some other merino wool products much dearer..

    • Only small available for delivery. Other sizes are only pickup and appear to be no stock anywhere in stores I checked.

    • +1

Medium avail for pick up South Morang or. Moorabbin.

  • Merged from Ubiquiti G4 Instant (open box) $179.10 + Delivery / C&C @ MSY
    Go to Deal

This is an open box. Generally that means it has been opened. To open a box you simply open it. After which it has been opened.

Not the cheapest ever but not terrible. If you’re close to a store with stock and can see it first I’d consider it OK.

Also brand new for $199 pickup which is pretty good if close to a store.

  • Merged from [NSW] Domyos 15kg Hex Dumbbells $20 (Was $105) (In-Store Only) @ Decathlon, Tempe
    Go to Deal

Went in store (Tempe) to purchase at the discounted price of $55. Used the self service machine and was surprised to see each dumbbell for $20. Not sure if this was a price error or a further in store discount not displayed.

Tried the 7.5kg and it scanned up at full price. Looks to be specific to the 15kg. There was still 2 in store when I left.

    • +4

Should probably write "in-store only" in the title

      • Updated, sorry posted it while I was in transit.

    • Ordered a pair for click and collect (Tempe).

      • +1

    • Are there any redemptions for these kits?

    • Any deals on the 10pc M18FPP10C2-603B?

    • -3

Wow, thought I was paying high prices for Makita, the same kit here is about $200 dearer than my 4 piece at current price with 2 bats and one via redemption, this has 2 bats no redemption … sure that comes with 6ah where mine was 5

Thing about Milwaukee batteries is … they design them for current delivery over cell life, so ya gunna be buying batteries unless you charge them early and often.

Thing about Makita batteries … they make em robust.

      • Can I ask what model kit you bought? Did it contain a High Torque Impact Wrench? They alone are $495 in Makita.

        • This comes in at under $900 after tax, shipping and import duties, has a 1/2" rattler.

          https://tinyurl.com/3823e99w

    • This one

      https://toolkitdepot.com.au/makita-18v-5-0ah-li-ion-brushles…

No 1/2 stuff included in it.

I bought when they were $949

I have the Makchinese version of the rattle gun, the LXT's fit it … it's no where as good and I only use it for building lighter weight stuff away from the shed and as it has a 1/4" drive recess built in, it backs me while building wooden stuff when I'm using different screws with different heads, I have a second hand 240v version of the 1/2 drive and it rips!

I have a Makita 125mm angle grinder and the Makchinese knock off, there's little between those 2 though, both my knock offs get almost daily use and are 2.5yrs old.

I'm embarrassed to admit I purchased some Ozito stuff before buying my property, Would gladly have the $ back for that rubbish!

    • +1

That last in the list kit is a nice set for the $, if I was still after something like that I'd be asking my Geelongite daughter to pick it up for me.

    • Hi OP, FYI

  • Merged from Zumi Sandra Rimless Toilet- Bunnings Warehouse Epping Victoria $40

Just bought a Zumi Sandra compact toilet suite for $40 from Bunnings Warehouse Epping. There were 3 left in stock, fairly sure a pricing error as they normally sell for around $450-$550.

Sorry can't figure out how to post photo of receipt so here's a link https://ibb.co/61rtDYj

    • Probably priced to get rid of old stock. They often drop the price of stuff they just want to get rid of.

      • Yeah, I've never seen sealed boxes for 10% RRP though. But you're probably right

        • I saw Victa 18v cordless blower skins for $10 yesterday.

      • Only 3 of them and not sure if more than 1 store

      • OP actually followed the rules on this. Insufficient stock = forum post.
