        The company is 'System Technology Services' with a couple of stores based out of Melbourne.

        The listing was advertised for months and months. I think because the seller didn't put that it had a 7700HQ or 1050 in the title that people wouldn't search for it unless they knew what they were looking for. The only reason I found it was because I was looking at the lower end i5 with only a 1tb drive refurbished from USA for around the same price, and decided to search different model numbers in case I would find a gem that others skipped. Turns out I was lucky for doing the extra searching.

        However the seller included a 19.5v 90w (4.62a) charger when it needs a 150w (7.7a) charger though. As a result the laptop won't go past 0.79ghz when plugged in, won't clock past 180mhz on the 1050 and charges at a very low rate. When I take the charger out it performs as expected - very well. I contacted the seller and they are ordering another charger for me now (and have been very quick to respond and come up with solutions).

        Apart from that area with scratches in the photo it's like a new machine. I do have to say though that the IPS panel is average - the TN panel used in older Macbook Pros is better across the board. It's better than a bad or average TN panel, but I understand now when reviewers talk about the 'average' IPS quality found in this, the 7000 series Dell and others. I have new respect for TN and won't be so quick to dismiss seeing it in the future without seeing it first.

    ps: You should claim within 2 months of purchase and may asked to show the item.

    The i5-7300HQ doesn't have Hyper-Threading, keep that in mind. The i7 has Hyper-Threading but is much more expensive and its the one they usually review.

    Would have got one myself if the i5 had it… :(
