    If they track usage, then they keep logs. Don't use it for privacy, use it to get around geo-blocking.

          PIA is a US based company so also not ideal for privacy. I don't think they have a warrant canary either right?

          @sav11: They don't keep logs. They've also been tested in court.

          @sween64: Until they receive a legal request to start logging, either everyone or someone in particular. They're a US company and must comply. If they had a warrant canary we would know when that happened, but they don't so there's no way to tell.

          For true privacy they would not be my choice of VPN provider.

      FYI, I just tried to join up my friend, and I got 5 GB.
      Steps I took:
      1) open an incognito window
      2) open http://www.techradar.com/reviews/tunnelbear-vpn
      3) click on the link under the pink banner ("TunnelBear’s exclusive TechRadar plan")
      4) sign up using friend's email address
      5) click on verify link
      6) log in via https://www.tunnelbear.com/account#/overview
      7) See: "5500MB remaining this month"

    Just a note, it's 5gb once off plus 500mb per month. I thought it was 5.5gb per month but not so.

      I signed up in November last year, and I still have over 5 GB left this month too… I don't use so much, so maybe it's once-off 5GB with no expiry?

    I just spent a couple of weeks in China and Tunnelbear would not work even once (worked fine at home). I used Express VPN instead and had no real problems
