a super cheap meal for two (or one hungry person).

    or a snack for OzBargainers…

    • Yes this is just a snack for them, this is your average McDonald's eating ozbargainers. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2015/02/19/25D6772100000578-2…

“ hmm 3 am need to go to bathroom, then get a snack then check for bargains and post bargains”
        at work ….
“time to go to toilet at work and use phone to check for bargains … doh no band 28 from that xiaomi so won’t go through the walls at the cublicle …. hmm will go to hj, mcdonald’s , kfc, subway and oh the free burger from eatclub club for a snack and check for bargains during lunch ”.

on the way home “ ooh dominos have a deal well that’s dinner fixed, so pickup the 50% off ice cream at woolies and coles on the way home and a pizza” …….

        • +1

Reading this bargain on my XiaoMi in the office bathroom without band 28 :p

If what you said was true, a generous portion of that time would be scheduled for crying

        • @outlander: I'm laughing while surfing at super fast speeds cos I get 4G+ in the office bathroom on level 15 in the middle of the building next to the lifts.

  • +1

Don't forget 3 for 3 bucks meal which is also there.

    • +2

Cheeseburger instead of a McFeast, only efficient if you get 5 of them.

      • Isn't a McFeast burger a cheeseburger with lettuce & tomatoes thrown on it ? :p

        • Pretty much. It's very similar to a whopper.

        • +1

          Quarter pounded with those things.

        • no, the cheeseburger patty is only 45 grams vs the feast burger which is 113 grams

  • small mcfeast meal has disappeared from the app for Sydney - George St (near Apple Store)
still appears for under Myer though.

    • Weird, appears at my local.

    • +1

      appears for under Myer

      Myer McFeast Meal?

      • +1

have they teamed up with the Myer Bargain Basement?

        • well the myer melbourne has a louis roderer champage bar ( true ) … maybe myer sydney has mc donald’s ?

@garage sale: I wonder if that means DJ's will open a HJ's hideout?

    • I don’t think that store has that deal. Couldn’t find it last time either.

    • +1

If you want to get $5 mcfeast meal from a store that don't offer it, just use "order again" from one of your old mcfeast order. If you never ordered this meal before than you need to find a place that offers it and buy from them. It will be in your order history than and you can order again at any store.

If you try to edit old order, price goes up so you have to always get same drink.

    • Same for all around me in Brisbane.

Edit: Just resolved after seeing the logout and login confirmation below.

  • Cant see a small mcfeast option. Only a medium meal Mcfeast appears for $11 on the app.

    • +2

Works at two locations I've checked. Options are in a strange order: Medium, Large, Small.

    • Its always been there for Android, is your app updated?

      • +1

Thank you guys. I just found it. Had to try the classic on and off and logout and login

  • -3

Comes up $15 for the 3 meals. Not $9.

    • +3

Did you use the voucher on your home screen?
      Edit: At the bottom

      • No coupons for that at the bottom.

    • that would be the normal $5 small meal.

This one looks safe, looks like the eggs are cage-free now: http://www.ausfoodnews.com.au/2018/01/24/mcdonalds-australia…

Baiting the infallible, moral Ubermensch ethical crowd never gets old

    • Next step full vegan?

    • +1

idonotknowwhy that got negged. Are some people upset at the mention of cage free eggs?

      • On OzBargain,
        mentioning eggs gets you neggs

  • Awesome!! More calories for the same price of 3 3 for $3's!!

    • -1

      Isn't 3 for 3 a better deal?

  • thats not bad, a small mcfeast meal is normally $5.

    • Are you PVC'S evil twin?

      • +1

        nah, just simple PVA glue.

  • I thought this was a good deal, but then i decided i was too hungry and had to eat immediately, so i smashed 8 weetbix and milk then worked out the cost.
    1.2kg of weetbix @ $4 = $0.055 per bix + 0.5l of milk at $0.50 = 94cents! AND i'm full! AND it was healthy.

    • did you use the office milk as well?

      • next time!
perhaps the office weetbix as well??

      • +1

that only works in the vic public service .. one person used to come in, turn on the pc, go the kitchen and and cook scrambled eggs in the microwave for breakfast ……. why cook at home when you can cook at work and be paid for the time and people think you get in early so you go home early …..

        • Life goals.

    • No sweetener?

      • Thats a negative.

    • That is really good and weetbix is very healthy, ideally if you can afford it, get the one that is cholesterol lowering, eating that for breakfast each day can lower your cholesterol by 7%. One problem thou is you are using dairy, it contains saturated fat and the casein also causes problems, not to mention IGF1 which is very carcinogenic, you should switch to low fat soy or low fat rice milk. I don't recommend this but you can extend your milk by mixing it with 1/2 to 3/4 water and then adding it to your cereal and it will become like skim milk.

      • Haha - i think i'll stick with regular milk and put my faith in the wonders of modern medicine!

        • -2

          Just for your information.

          https://www.drmcdougall.com/2014/11/01/got-milk-got-disease/

          1) The milk sugar, galactose, is toxic. As far back as 1981, cow’s milk was reported to cause cataracts of the eyes.
          2) The fat you eat is the fat you wear. (Overweight and obesity.) Whole milk is 50% fat, milk advertised as 1% (low fat) is still 18% fat, and cheese is 70% fat.
          3) Risk for heart attacks and stroke is most strongly tied to animal fats also called saturated fats. Dairy fat is 97% saturated fat. Dairy is loaded with cholesterol.
          4) Milk is loaded with people poisoning chemicals. High levels of pesticides and herbicides are present in these foods. They cause cancer and brain damage.
          5) Milk is filthy with microbes. Cow’s milk drinkers consume bovine leukemia viruses, bovine immunodeficiency viruses, listeria bacteria, mad cow prions, and much more.
          6) Osteoporosis and kidney stones are from bone loss caused by eating animal proteins and dietary acids. Hard cheese is the greatest source of dietary acids.
          7) Constipation is caused by lack of dietary fiber. Dairy products contain no dietary fiber. Plus cow’s milk protein causes allergic reactions, which paralyze the bowels making it almost impossible for children and adults to move their rock-hard stools.
          8) Cow’s milk protein is the most common dietary cause of allergy and autoimmune diseases, including nephritis (kidney disease) and severe forms of arthritis.
          9) Lactose, the basic milk sugar, causes the majority of people worldwide to become sick with diarrhea, stomach cramps, and gas (lactose intolerance).
          10) The factory farming of dairy cows is considered to be animal abuse and production of dairy foods is a leading cause of environmental pollution and climate change.

        • hmm cows, methane, green house gases …… if we stop immigration, less people farting in australia, less methane, less green house emissions in australia ….. and we are closer to paris agreement for emissions.

        • @freemoneyhunter: It's so strange that cow milk hasn't wiped out humanity from this planet right?

garbage with discount yeyeyeyeye! I think it should not be considered as a discount because this is a norm to give them discount, so that they can keep themself in the market.

    • +2

You're talking garbage mate. How often do Maccas offer 40% your whole order which is also applicable against their current specials.. Very, very rarely if ever.

      • -3

It makes no difference to me, I wouldn't eat any of their meals even if they paid me $10.

ok while we have mathematician on board ….. if the government does the company tax cuts how much will the companies raise our wages by ?

with trickle down down economics and wealth, what is the colour of the trickle passed down to the less wealthy from the wealthy ?

    • +1

Depends how much water the wealthy have been drinking.

    • +1

Tax cuts are stupid, government should not even consider this when they are in deficit, if they are in surplus obviously that is fine.

  • +2

I have several accounts. I can comfirm the main account I use has 25% offer.
I checked 2 of my one-off use accounts, both have 40% offer.
Unsure if new users creating an account today (which is quick and easy using gmxmail) would get the 40% or 25% .

I am happy to offer 10 of my 40% codes of the ozbargain community. (I have only checked 2 of 40 spare accounts, but seems they all should have 40% off code) .

The first 10 people that reply to this comment asking politely for a code, I will private message a code to you. (Please be sure your account can accept message).
NOTE: Code I give you can only be used at kiosk or counter,so wouldn't get $5 mcfeast deal all day, only the in-store time available.

    • Could I please have a code ozzpete. I have my private messages enabled now. Thanks.

    • +2

      40 spare accs, true ozbargainer.
I'd appreciate a code please mate.

Stupid question (as I never used the kisok), so I guess you have an option to enter the code before you checkout?

Also do they still offer free chips & drinks with their gourmet burgers?

I vaguely recall there were some hacks ordering them.

    Cheers

    • +1

There is an option on kiosk that says "apply promotion code" or something like that . The code can also be applied at front counter ordering also . I have applied codes successfully both ways when app was down.
Not sure about free chips hack on premium burgers, I would be interested to know if it works also .

  • -1

    any deal on 5?

    • +1

Of course, you can order as many as you like. What's in the title is the minimum to meet the spend requirements of the vouchers.

  • +1

Make that quater pounder meals. Minus lettuce, tomato and McChicken sauce 😊

    • +2

I made a McChicken when it allowed you to add a chicken patty for about the cost of taking off the meat patty. I can still reorder because it's in my past orders, but they were thoroughly confused last time and when I explained they told me off for "cheating". They still gave me my burger though.

      • I ordered a burger at the airport masses and removed the bun.
They gave me what I wanted, but kept starting and laughing while I ate. The girl found it particularly funny when I went up to ask for a knife and fork lol. 🍴

I know a guy in the US, who managed to remove everything but still pay the full price. So he paid like $6 for nothing lol

  • man, the fact that nutritionally bankrupt high-calorie meals like this are sold for cents at this point is pretty bad…. this isn't me moralizing on anyone in this thread, a cheap meal is a cheap meal, i just wish it wasn't so normal that the only cheap prepared meals you can get in this country are low-nutrition rubbish, it has a real long-term effect on our public health

  • +2

Thats the last of my 10 codes giveaway . I will check later if new accounts get 40%

    • Could I have one pls,new account only get 25.Thanks.

  • L1TP Your account doesnt allow messages hoatian .
    Thats the last code

  • How are you guys getting the 3 for $3 deal? When I enter a small cheeseburger meal it comes up as $5.90

    • +2

3 for is down the bottom. Its seperate thing though I guess when you think about it, its just a small cheeseburger meal with less drink choices .
Go to mcClassics, then its right down bottom of list on the left in maccaz app.

      • +1

        Yeah. That's a bit confusing.

      • +1

Thanks I didn't think to look there! Was hoping to be able to get coffee or small shake for a bit extra, I guess they have it separate so you can't do that.
