MFi Certified status: pending verification from LITB/manufacturer

The first time this cable was offered (my post last month), it was fairly popular as this is reasonably priced for a Made-For-iPhone/iPod/iPad (MFi) certified cable. After a couple of runs, all available quantities were exhausted at the time, yet there still were users wanting to bring this back.

So this is now available again, with an aptly applicable coupon code :)

A recent buyer who just reported that they have received from last month's order and the quality is excellent. Taking into account a lot of services and factories in China are closed/reduced during CNY period, I'd say the LITB service and shipping times are gradually improving. I hope they keep this up.

High-quality pure copper-core cable. Fast-charge rated at 2.4 amps. 1-metre length. Comparable to Banggood's Blitzwolf cables, or the likes of Tronsmart.

Compared with Kim Jong Un's current deal from Kogan ($25 for 3-pack 1m cables), the price on the Waza cable is indeed, excellent.

As usual, follow this process to quickly order:
How to order on LITB website:
1- Select USD currency at upper right, above Cart (screenshot)
2- Add product to cart and proceed to checkout
3- Select "Postal Service - No Tracking" US$0.00
4- Untick shipping insurance
5- Choose the payment method (default should be Paypal) and apply coupon screenshot
6- Verify final payable price before proceeding to Paypal

  • Good for 2.4a?

Waza? Not on the list of mfi brands?
I bought one at the last OzB sale - only to find afterwards that waza isn't on apple's mfi list.
    Buyer beware. Danger danger

      …low voltage?

      • Low voltage is enough to toast the device.

Good enquiry. Lemme try to get a response from the manufacturer regarding this.

Caveat emptor for now until proven legit.

Op really should remove the "MFI" comment in the description. So should Light in the box

after reading your comment I might skip getting one of these.

Use apple's mfi checker. Waza not on their list of mfi brands.
      Stop screwing people, LITB

Amazons and Wallmart do have this cable listed as MFi Certified.

Apple says MFi logo in the package is sufficient.

Checked a Belkin from Apple store and it's neither listed

    • $5 for a certified cable? Isn't the writing on the wall folk?

  • +3

    Probably not MFI
    LITB IS FULL OF LIES

    • Agree. See my comment above

    Thanks for posting OP.

Please remove MFI from the title and description until you have proof otherwise.

    • -2

What proof do you need? If a company claims MFi, surely we have to believe them unless we know otherwise.

    • MFi going back on title and description soon once proof of certification is verified.

      • I doubt there are any problems with you doing that once 100% proof of MFi is supplied. Just strange they wouldn't already be on the Apple list if they are an MFi Supplier.

    • +4

Please remove MFI from the title and description until you have proof otherwise.

If there is an issue with the title or description you are meant to report it, not neg the deal.

      • +7

        Ok, neg removed.

        • +3

          Respect.

i remember reading somewhere that apple charges $4(US?) per cable/device for the chip/licensing. So they'd be losing money on this one if it was really mfi …

  • +4

Update: I am getting info from the manufacturer that the cable is indeed MFi. Obtaining proof now.

Again, caveat emptor. Don't be too quick to jump the gun if something is cheap and from China. Websites like Ozbargain would not have flourished if there weren't markets and suppliers from China.

Thanks OP got one. Cable from last post was good so why not a spare one for the car.

  • It’s showing as 5.99USD after following all of the instructions. I got this both logged out and logged into my account. There didn’t seem to be an area to enter the coupon code, was it just a novelty addition to your post?

Got one from the last deal and works perfectly for both iphone and ipad. I only bought one the last time as I had my doubts, but will definitely be pulling the trigger again. Thanks OP !

  • Sorry, your coupon is expired (expiration date: 05/03/2018)

Do you still want to purchase? I will ask for more stock if you'd like.

  • +1

so are there any confirmation from LITB or manufacturer that these are MFI cables?

    • It is MFi Certified. It's currently out of stock so I will update this when there is some more stock to do a new post.
