      you mean run away?

  • +2

Cheers. Got a size 13 which is really hard to find.

    • +1

      Same, thanks OP

  • +5

Great deal OP, congrats on your first post.

  • are these uk or us sizing, could not find it on page, if someone could please advise. good find Op!

    • +1

compare it to the Euro sizing on the size chart

      • Thanks! Duh! how did I miss that!

    • -2

      US sizing

      • +1

No… Its UK sizing. It even says its UK sizes

        • I got that one wrong

        • Where does it say that? Feelsblindman

        • @memske: lol look at the front page. The advertisement that has the Discount code banner. Underneath it clearly states "All footwear shown in UK sizing NO EXCLUSIONS"

        • @tomochin1991:

Haha thanks ;p only looked at the product page.

        • +1

EU sizing would suggest otherwise. UK 10.5 is EU 45.5. Site shows 44.5 for 10.5 which would make it US 10.5. Pitty, means don't have my size.

        • I doubt if that's UK size. When you select the size, it says 10(44) and so on which looks more like 10 US (44 EUR) based on their size guide. If it was a UK size, then 10 should translate to 45 EUR?

        • @rhangman:
Yeah I was doing the same thing

      • +1

Damn. I bought a size 14 instead of 13 because I didn't read the banner. Well, there goes $40 down the drain.

        • If you paid with PayPal use the free returns offer

        • @spaceflight:

I did use PayPal. I'll look into it. Will sports direct accept the return though?

        • @Peanutbutterjelly69:

I'd they are like most big stores I assume so.
You will have to check their returns policy.

You might get lucky and find they fit

        • +2

why don’t you contact them and check if you can change the size before they process it? You never know…

        • +1

          @GregFiona:

Yeah, I contacted their fb team and they said to contact them via email. Email spat out a automatically generated email saying they'll respond to it in 5 business days. By then I think it may be too late.

        • @martindanny:

          Thanks mate (y)

        • If you're Sydney city based (or eastern subs), then I'd be interested in buying them off you! (they currently don't have the 14s in stock any more)

        • @evorgevol:

          Brisbane, sorry mate.

    • +1

looking at there sizing chart seems to suggest it is US Sizing when comparing to the EU sizes listed.

Either way anyone worn these before? how does the fit compare to a Nike shoe?

      • Have I think 3 pairs of other UA shoes, all fit fine and the same size as my Nike shoes. Then again, also have NB, Asics and Saucony which are also the same size and fit fine. Never really had an issue when it comes to sizing and any runners. My boots (Danner, Bates, 5.11, Magnum, etc.) on the other hand, always go 1/2 size smaller.

        • Thanks for the info, mostly find the difference is between Adidas, Nike and Converse, I'm different sizes in all those shoes.

  • Are these comparable to say Brooks for running or is that just another league?

    • You answered your own question.

      • If they're anything like Everlast running shoes from K-mart, don't bother.

If anyone wants a blue colour pair it's on sale at Rebel for $50 (minus 10% with Entertainment Book discount minus 3% CR)

    http://www.rebelsport.com.au/Product/Under-Armour-Rapid-Men-…

    • legend - thanks mate. The blue actually look nicer.

  • +1

Any idea why they spell their name the way they do? Considering it's an American company, shouldn't it be "Under Armor" ?

    • +1

It is actually the result of trying to get a cool toll-free phone number. #truth Lmao

  • +1

Most reviews about this shoe say this shoe isn't really suited for running. More jogging & walking so….

    • thanks bob

    • Thanks. Was about to buy it but then saw this.

  • +1

Thanks OP, finally pulled the trigger and bought a pair (first pair of shoes I've bought in years)

    • +10

do you usually buy just one shoe?

      • When one breaks!

  • Does Under Armour have a similar fit to Nike?
Normally a 6.5UK but not sure if I should risk buying a 6 or 7

    • +2

would always recommend you head in store before purchasing online. shoe sizing is subjective.

      • Agree. And even then I’ve had problems where the fit in store is slightly different from the pair I bought online. I find shoes real difficult to fit well when bought online.

  • What's the code for? Can be used on other shoes etc?

    • Sure do for footwears

    • Footwear promo , 20% off in all footwear , can be used on other listing as well

  • Hmmm online returns to UK SHIRBROOKS…no option to return to a local store

    • +1

Pay with PayPal and use the free PayPal return program

      • PayPal $45 cap hope not more than $45 to Uk

        • Doesn't matter if the cost is more than $45, that's just the maximum that you will get back

1kg to the UK is under $45

        • @spaceflight:
that's just going by the weight of the package, international shipping may take size of the parcel into account as well.

        • +1

          @ameyas7:

Not if you use Australia Post, they only use the weight.

I don't know why when they do in domestic and all couriers use size but thats how they do it

  • +6

Even cheaper if paying in GBP. It is £19.39 (~34.5 AUD) for me with Citi card.

    • thanks for the tip

  • Ordered one pair and I will start jogging on treadmill soon

  • How likely is this company to start cancelling orders when they don't have enough stock like Rebel sport and Harvey Norman?

    • who knows… but what's the big deal anyway? You'll get refunded.

      • I just think its a bad practice to accept orders on a product you don't have and can't deliver - wastes peoples time and hurts reputation.

        • +2

so you're holding back because you think they may cancel?? It's not like it's am obvious price error nor they've set out to deceive. If they run out of stock because of very high demand and poor IT then so be it. The ozb crowd should be the last group to complain about timewasting within the context of a couple of mins. Some people seem to overcomplicate their lives.

    • Why would they run out of stock? They're a big company that have sales like this all the time. I've bought plenty of shoes from them in the past.

      • They do run out of stock. It’s not often, but I’ve had half my order out of stock a few months back. Customer service is terrible. Took me weeks to get refund on stuff that didn’t get sent that was oos.
Have ordered many times from them, and will keep doing so.

        • Interesting. That's good to know. Still worth the risk for me too.

  • Back to the sizes …. So if they say UK sizing, then why have I just been able to buy 11/45. 11/45 is a US/EURO combination as per the under armour size chart. What are these characters up to at Sports direct

    • Best thing to do is measure your feet. That's what i did

  • +2
  • Why can't I find any reviews for this shoe?

    • +1

I think most running related websites don't consider Under Armour Rapid "running shoes".

  • +1

    thanks for the post.
    great price

  • +1

I had to get a pair at that price

  • Is this good for weight training?

    • +11

Only if you're just starting out and have tiny arms.

  • Every time Sports Direct has a 20% or 30% discount I stock up for the family for the year. Even better this time with the discounted delivery which is usually $15 for 4 - 5 pairs.

Remember to select GBP on the top left corner to save even more. You will pay around 1.8x instead of 2x exchange rate.

Karrimor shoes / runners have been good for me. go one size down from your normal Aussie size. If you can, the cm size is the best bet when buying shoes as I own 10.5's, 10, 11, 11.5 and they are all 45cm.

  • +1

Thanks OP. Had to wait until I could get to work to check my Under Armour basketball shoes (for size) - fingers crossed other U.A. shoes are same fit. Was surprised they still had stock, in my size.

  • How did you get $38.79 my check out is showing $59.20 after discounted

    • Price only available in black

  • Work it out only valid certain color white yes but not for black

  • i accidently ordered US9 - didn't realise it was UK doh haha i emailed them hopefully they can amend the order

    • +1

      anyone got this "

Unfortunately the items listed below are no longer in stock. As a result we have had to cancel these items and cancel the payment authorised on your card. You will not be charged for any of these items. Please allow 2 - 5 working days for the pending amount to appear in your account"

I ordered UK size 9 but when you look online it still say available lol but either way I needed to get UK 8 so i'll put an order through again lol

  • +1

I have ordered some! thanks OP

  • As someone has stated above, the sizing has to be in US and in brackets euro? looking at the sizing guide in my case(46) which is euro sizing translates to a US 12?

  • If anyone got 14 and they are a bit too big, message me to swap for 13s in Perth. I got 13s because bigger ones were all sold out but pretty sure they are going to be a bit tight.

  • I'm a US10 and I order 10/44.. Is this incorrect as the euro44 is US10..

  • +3

The 20% off banner says "ALL FOOTWARE SHOWN IN UK SIZING | NO EXCLUSIONS". But for these shoes/brand its actually US(EURO). Best bet,use the size guide and just pick the size you need in EURO size.

    • Their banner is BS. The size shown is US/EU. I ordered assuming it was UK and they have not processed my cancellation and I just got an email saying they have the shoes ready to pickup by courier… Seems they don't care to read their emails.

      • -1

lol yeah I don't know why people are so confused… as you said it's pretty easy to see the EURO size next to it and work it out from there.

      • good luck getting a response, its rare.
they have good prices, average service at best.

    • +1

you are wrong.. they sent me the uk size 10.

      • So the Banner is correct "ALL FOOTWARE SHOWN IN UK SIZING | NO EXCLUSIONS" :) Lucky I ordered mine based on the UK sizing.

  • +1

Great post OP!!!! Picked 2 up :)

  • Sigh… I'm in the same boat. Wanted a US10(EURO44) got given a UK10(EURO45). Stupid sizing chart put me off.

    • which did you order?

  • Got delivered mine yesterday.

  • +1

Got delivered today, sizing issue. Orders the correct euro size and given wrong size.
Going to return, using paypal free returns

  • +1

Also took delivery today, and received the incorrect size. I ordered a Euro 46 and received a Euro 47.5.
