Isn't that the same thing? The wireless adapter is great for PCs without bluetooth and also allows the controller to have headphones plugged into them (that feature doesn't work over bluetooth afaik).
The adapter is usually $30 so this is a good price.
Well if your PC somehow doesn't have bluetooth then I suppose you might as well get the other version, otherwise you're paying $10 more for an older version of the controller so not much of a deal.
It's a deal for those who need it so yes it is a deal.

The xbox wireless adapter is a bit different - you get to stream audio to the controller, you can connect more devices, and for me, I found the range on the thing to be far better than any other bluetooth device ive ever used before. It also seems to work slightly better in that my controller instantly connects the moment I press the power button on it, but then again, its not too difficult to pair with another adapter anyway.

Doesn't mention if this is the older v2 or the newer v3 bluetooth controller. Yet does come with the original oversized USB wireless adapter. Probably why there is limited quantity available.
Latest v3 controller and wireless adapter bundle comes with the new USB wireless adapter that is 66% smaller than the original adapter. If using bluetooth require v4 adapter.
thanks for the link, clears up a lot of things ….. seems it’s the old version they are clearing from the pictures which is a pity, else i would have grabbed one.
i’d pay the extra for the dongle for the play anywhere games that we have a few of already, and it’s always cheaper as a bundle than to buy as a bundle rather than separate item.
