Yeh surely these Hisense TV prices will plummet after the World Cup is over

    • Or before…

      • Yes before I’d guess, as 2018 models are expected before the World Cup.

Hisense 65N7 $1384 and 55N7 $880 delivered with the code PREWINTER. Free shipping to most metro postcodes, however if you're not eligible for free shipping, then the one in this deal should be a better option.

Is the 50N7 an IPS Panel or VA?

Also how is the HDR? Is it true HDR unlike some of these other panels (looking at you MU6100)?

edit: Looks to be VA, but HDR is only 8-bit like the Samsung. Correct me if I'm wrong.

  • Comparing this to a TV like LG’s UJ752T which has HDR including “Dolby Vision”; does anyone know if is this supposed to be better or equal to 10 bit?

    • If anyone has experience I'm interested to know as well, also how does this compare to the midrange Sony (x8500e for $850)?
I went to a store to see this but they had it on top shelf and VA panel is useless with that sort of viewing angle, I couldn't make doses guy understand this he kept saying no Hisense is a no name brand of course the picture looks washed off, even when I showed him the same image on n6 which they had on a lower shelf and looked better than the n7 he still wouldn't believe me…

  • 75" deal?

  • delivered to where exactly?

      …my house. :-P

Panels are 8bit plus dithering to give equivalent of 10bit.

    • Actually I'm not sure, but I think that is only on some sizes.

  • Does anyone know wha's different between the N7 and the N8?

    • The stand. Not much else.

  • The stand and the N8 has a speaker bar underneath. It's also a bit slimmer and he bezel is smaller. Picture wise little to no difference. I'm in the same position. I either buy the N7 now but I'm tempted to wait for a good deal on the N8 as l like the design a bit better.

  • Ive got the 75" version great to start with however it has started to lose channels gradually and now only picks up SBS channels. Plug my old Bravia and picks up everything. The Bravia is 4yrs old and I had to replaced the Hisense in the lounge room. Its only about 6 months old. Would I be entitled for a replacement or a refund.

    • Pretty sure you can do a warranty claim.
