Scoopon 20% still works, and used it to book earlier today, but hey, this might have a later expiry date

This is different to the 20% off here how?

      • already existed, different coupon code, otherwise same 20% off.
expiry date of both codes is unknown.

WW20S still works for 20%. Just bought an Annual Multi Trip today.

    • I can't find the annual multi trip cover on the website. Is it something you have to call for?

      • Simulate a regular single trip and on the next page up top it offers you AMT

      • Couldn't find it. But i called up. They only over trips up to 30 days.
Got 20% off insure and go via groupon.

Upvoting just for the dad joke.

I think all votes were just for the dad joke.

      • It's the only reason I have an account on this site to be honest.

I know nothing about this company but I did a few of quotes - single trips and annual multi trips, different ages. Result = ridiculously cheap! Bookmarked!

  • dat dad joke. dayum

    Loving the dad joke.
Even beats the kind of dad jokes I come up with: "Pay attention when you're finding the square roots of these numbers, because they're the only roots you'll ever get".

  • Gets “outstanding value” from Canstar 2017 in all categories.

  • Correct me if I’m wrong but the hire car excess cover is only for collision damage and theft?
So if someone bangs a shopping trolley into the side of your hire car there’s no excess coverage?
Or if you swerve to avoid a collision and end up in the bush with scratched and dents down the side of the car. Is this covered?

    • here is your answer https://world2cover.com.au/pds

      • That’s where I read collision damage a theft.
I can’t see anything detailing what is classed as collision damage though.

        • well if isnt there, then they wouldnt cover it.
no insurance company (incl top level hire car policy) pay for hitting stationary objects or shopping trolley or keyed by someone else. Only accident involved another car or theft, thats normal.

  • YAY, been holding out for travel insurance, and because of you I one (or two, if you count the partner) :D Thanks.

      A plus vote?

  • Is this insurance better than the insurance including in the credit card? For example, the CBA card includes travel insurance without any conditions to activate.

In general the paid separate product covers more with more payout, but that's just in general - read the PDS to make sure it's right for you.

Perfect for mum. I already have travel insurance with my CC but mum isn't covered. Thanks OP

    • +1

hi normally with the CC, immediate family such as spouse, kids and parents are also covered as long as you travel with them in the same booking number. You might contact your bank to ask it further.

      • I've seen spouse and kids (dependents) covered but never parents!

        • My apology, I think you are right. I checked t&c and it does only cover spouse and kids not parents. Thank you.

    • Is the mother-in-law covered?

      • If a mother is not covered them I would assume mother-in-law is also not covered. My PDS says no.

        • In that case she cant come :))

  • +1 purely for the opening gag. ;)

    Thanks heaps OP.

Was looking for travel insurance for my upcoming trips to NZ.

  • How to buy multitrip annual policy?

  • Is this one better than Budget direct? only a week in Japan.

I have no idea when it comes to insurance lol.

  • Thanks
