      • It's updated 2 days ago. I bought myself a 5x5 Kallax in oak for $200, was $250.

I really don't like how Ikea in SA/WA is handled :(

    • +1

They should be the same since IKEA now owns them

      • +1

Prices are always higher for WA/SA and Ikea Family offers pail in comparison

        • Yes and with ikea family you used to get discounts each month on certain spends in store which came in very useful, now you get nothimg.
The items i purchased have actually gone up since ikea took over and no more discount.
So im not liking as much as i used to,better price they said.

    • +4

The offer is available in ikea WA/SA stores as well. Here is the link https://www.ikea.com/ms/en_AU/media/pdf/terms_2018/TCs_Easte…

      • Sadly the ONLY thing I wanted to buy which costs above $250 is out of stock in Perth! Argh! They should allow pre-orders for restocked items

  • Damn I just spend 300 bucks last weekend!

    • Same….tempted to return and re-buy, but huge hassle

      • +9

Nah, just make new purchase during the promo period and then walk straight over to the returns counter with the old receipt and turn it back in.

        • +1

          …genius

        • Crap, the store I bought from isn't doing the promo. Can I "return" my items to another store?

  • Sweet. I’m heading out to the Marsden Park store on the weekend.
Can I register whilst at the counter or do I need to run in first and register and then do my shop?

    • Can I register whilst at the counter or do I need to run in first and register and then do my shop? Can I register whilst at the counter or do I need to run in first and register and then do my shop?

You can register at the kiosks near the restaurant.
Please don't be a dick and block up the counters (which have long queues)

      • +1

        Perfect.
Thanks for that… Ill be heading out there tomorrow :)

  • Can this be used multiple times? Say I have $2000 worth of stuff, can I put it through in $250'ish allotments and claim the $50 discount each time?

    • It's going to be like their recent business account cashback - single transaction only.

      • +6

I should mention though that it's free to sign up your remaining 7 identical octuplet siblings…

      • Damn, I need to buy a bucketload of items

        8x Karlby Worktops - $240ea
        8x Kallax Shelves - $65ea

And then a bunch of inserts/$15 items.

I thought I had won lotto!

    • +1

I actually had $579 worth of stuff and asked if I could split them into two purchases ($250 + $279) and they actually did let me do it for $100 off :)

  • +1

Doesn't show for Ikea Logan either. :(

    • Title needs to be amended to say "1/2 QLD". Good news is that you get a Salmon Fillet meal for $6 instead.

    • +2

It doesn't show up online for Logan but it is advertised in-store there (albeit minimally - I only saw it on table cards in the restaurant area) so I assume it should still go through.

      • Nice! Will go check it out next weekend… Thanks!

  • Hmm, according to the terms and conditions (link to the pdf):

    https://www.ikea.com/ms/en_AU/media/pdf/terms_2018/TCs_Easte…

"This offer is only open to qualifying customers who make a single transaction over $100 or $250 during the Promotional Period on purchases at IKEA Tempe, IKEA Rhodes, IKEA Marsden Park, IKEA Springvale, IKEA Richmond, IKEA Canberra, IKEA Logan and IKEA North Lakes, or online with IKEA in ACT, NSW, NT, Qld and Tas."

    • Thanks! have updated post

  • So it starts tomorrow but its closed on good friday? Lol I want to go Ikea tomorrow ;)

    • Yeah just saw it's closed today (Fri) and Sunday. Open various times Sat and Mon depending on store.

  • +1

$250 worth of swedish meatballs, here I come!

    • +1

Unfortunately "IKEA Food products and Gift cards are excluded from the promotion."

    • Beat me to the punchline!

  • Cool. I was planning on buying a desk and storage rack a few days ago. I didn't because I couldn't fit it in my car. Good thing for that.

  • What information do you need to provide when you click and collect? I was wondering if I could play an order on my name and one on my sisters name and collect them together or would my sister need to come along too?

  • Confirmed for marsden Park.
    Thanks

  • Yay $10 saving on my $100 TULLSTA armchair cover!

  • I got the 4x4 Kallax x 2 for $200 plus the 2x4 for $65, with the $50 discount was $215 total.

  • Can you use this multiple times?

Say if you buy 1 Grand wardrobe. and split into 4 $250 transactions (I know this is optimal scenario but let's go with the assumption), can you get 200 bucks off?
