Doesn't seem to be restricted to family tickets.

    • I just bought 2 single trip tickets and the discount code worked fine

      • Seems like single trip tickets are no longer valid for the discount :/

that would be right we came back from Sydney on Sunday. I keep missing out on these deals by a few days.

  • Hm… heading to Sydney in May. Anyone knows the validity of these tickets if I were to purchase them now?

    • Their website says: SkyBus tickets are valid for three months from the date of purchase

      • Right I see it now. Thanks!

    Much cheaper to Uber

It depends on how many passengers are travelling!

      • Just looked at the Uber estimate site and, for the two of us from the airport to Fitzroy, it is 50/50. The issue is how you get home from Southern Cross station which also needs to taken into account. The big issue with the bus is to make sure there is a ride home. We got in really late on Sunday night and just got the last tram home. It was touch and go if we would, given the current roadworks, but the driver was determined to stick to her schedule. The other advantage of the bus is it is really cool to sit in the front seats at the upper level. I figure in an accident I'm toast, but so be it.

        • I think you could get off at Rathdowne Street near 402 bus stop. I saw a drop off site of Skybus there. Also, you could ask them to drop you off at the hotel in Fitzroy street near Gerturude street.

        • @bbtlovebbt: Thanks, will ask them about that next time we take it as we live near Gertrude St.
