NetGear N300 Wi-Fi Modem Router $18 @ Harvey Norman

210

This one is for cheap..

May be NOT for NBN (If anyone got some details pls share).. but pretty good deal for ADSL2+.

For FTTB/FTTN no, for FTTC/FTTP/Fixed Wireless/HFC yes. One of the Ethernet ports can be used as a WAN port, but this only comes with 2 Ethernet ports anyway.

      Thanks buddy.. :)
      have updated in description ..

  • No USB ports, no OpenWRT support (as far as I can tell).

  • Anyone know if this would work fine for a Philips Hue offline network? Apparently you don’t need internet connection for it.

It doesn’t seem to want to cooperate with my current setup a modem router joined to a non modem router

    • Hard to say without knowing your network topology.

      • Just need a wireless router with good ranger to create a non internet enabled network

        • Would recommend investing in a ubiquiti setup if stability is your main concern with IoT devices.

  • Any suggestions on NBN modem FTTN lines? Just joined Telecube seems like my Belong fast 4315 isn’t supporting PPPOE?

    • Gateway Max 2. I have FTTN and Telecube

      • Is it locked with Telstra? Could you please share where did you buy from, thanks..

        • Ebay second hand, works out of the box can unlock phone via SSH

  • Seems has finished

Back again for $1 less, $18.

  • Yep, the deal is back. Saw this from a HN email I got earlier today. Didn't realise that I had tried buying the same model about 2 months ago…

Glad I could get it this time. Bought 2, one for me and one for mum and dad… we're not getting NBN for a while so this is a nice cheap back up for us.
