Kaspersky Internet Security 2018 - 3-PC 1-Year $12 | 3-PC 2-Years $19 | Total Security 3-Device 2-Years $26 @ SaveOnIT

310

This popular expired deal from Feb is back on again (same price for first 2, $2 more for 3rd).

Internet Security 3PC 1-Year $12

Internet Security 3PC 2-Years $19

Total Security 3-Device 2-Years $26

Personally, I recommend choosing deal #2 over #1 as its better value for money.
Choose Deal #2 if you just want to protect PCs, or #3 if you want a mixture of PCs and mobile phones.
I have been using Kaspersky for a few years now, and pretty happy with it. Doesnt hog resources like Norton.
Includes anti-spam plugin for Outlook email - but has to be enabled via the Settings.

I believe you can buy multiple codes and stack them, eg for 4 years, just be careful not to activate a 4th device as that would start consuming the 2nd 2-year license early. Or buy but dont add the 2nd license until near the renewal date.

      • Pick who you most prefer to invade your privacy and buy your security software from that company. Some careful thought on The enemy of my enemy is my friend proverb is warranted.

Have you checked what facebook knows about you and is sharing?

Comfortable with your Xiaomi Dafang sending your videos to a server in China? I think I'd prefer that to someone in my city.

        • Facebook spam emails turned me off it years ago, the whole facebook trend seemed to happily die for a while there then somehow remarkably had a huge researgence. Such a shame.

        Paranoia is amazing

  • Kaspersky has really lost its edge. Once upon a time I wouldn't even touch the alternatives, now most free solutions are equal and often better.

Guess it's reflected in the heavily discounted price now, this used to be quite expensive per year

    • +3

Kaspersky has been this price (when on sale) for this price for at least 4 years - I have bought 2 year bundles twice now and am about due for a third so this price is not unusually discounted as you claim.

I'm probably thinking as far back as 2008

    • Haven't used the free programs in a few years, I didn't think they were as good as Kasperspy/McAfee, though this may have changed since then.

I'm going to jump on this deal, unless someone can recommend a free alternative that doesn't get in my face with popups/ads/upgrade messages?

good price and good software but these days the free windows offering is very highly rated. https://www.av-test.org/en/antivirus/home-windows/windows-7/…

Warning do not trust comondo had the greatest breach in my life using that

    • +8

Idiotic is potentially trusting western applications (Snowden)

In my experience Comondo really left me wide open and the only program that could remove the Trojan invasion was Russian software outpost but that’s not an indicator of overall trust

To be realistic I really can’t say any country or corporation is trustworthy

      • +4

        Completely agree.

If anything, going with Kaspersky for a/v is a smart hedge.

      • Should of used comodo kill switch with that issues.
or even their rescue boot cd/usb

and if you say nothing else could remove it, cant really blame them.

i have been using comodo for years nothing missed.

its not perfect i have seen many bugs like other programs cough "panda".

best set up i use is their firewall/HIPS Sandbox and use bitdefender free AV as a combo,

for people that dont want to pay.

other wise ill uses emsisoft for people that want to pay

Kaspersky not bad but it's no way the top dog anymore.

Windows defender sucks when it comes to zero day attacks.

buying an AV from a country without the rule of law is idiotic. Even if you think Kaspersky is not currently working for Russia's dictator (and given his public statements, this already strains credibility), he could at any time be arbitrarily imprisoned and forced to cooperate.

No surprise to see an uneducated Australian post such an absurd comment. Are you threatened by their superior intellect? Their wide ranging industries? What is it that scares you about Russia?

Open your eyes and stop believing the rubbish the Australian and other western governments along with the MSM are feeding you. Russia isn't perfect but it's a hell of an improvement on Australia when you start comparing.

      • Brought to you by Cambridge Analytica.

        • +1

Cambridge Analytica, a company based in a western country.
There's a flaw in using them as an example.
