How do they know when the sim is purchased from AusPost?

Not all auspost branches will stock OVO. the usual private owned ones usually don't. I had to go to OVO website and chat with their cso there to find nearest auspost that stock the cards. and then call auspost to ask them to call those branches (branch numbers unlisted) to check stock levels before heading there. For WA Perth SOR, the south perth main auspost branch carry OVO (thats the one i went to after the big wild goose chase).

FYI, chat with OVO. Hope someone will find this useful.
"Okay so basically with the AusPost promotion, you just need to buy the $9.95 mobile sim and it would automatically activate onto the OVO Large plan rather than the Mini plan"
"Unfortunately Coles and Woolies do not sell OVO sim cards at all. Only other place that does sell OVO sim cards in stores is 7Eleven and they do not have the $9.95 for OVO Large plan promotion"

Just did this and it's activated as the mini.
Do not do this as I called OVO and they will not honor it.
Do you have a chat transcript to back this up?

I just copy paste while chatting. I did not pursue because I was not going to buy it. Got the pennytel deal instead.

Plenty Available at Melbourne Bourke street post office.
Packaging says it’s 8GB data(may be old), but’s scans at the registers at $9.95.

Can I can Croatia? If so, what are the rates?

If you've signed up to an OVO Mobile plan that includes international minutes you'll be able to make calls to the following countries. To call a country that's not included in this list you'll need to add OVO Extras to your OVO Mobile service.

    Hong Kong
    New Zealand
    South Africa
    South Korea

Is this offer valid only for first month or for the life of the sim?

Thanks TS ! Just got one from Burwood post office.
