Tasmanian grown potato too supposedly. Good!

  • The seasoning or whatever on these is yum but I've found no matter how long I cook em in the oven, they still taste a bit frozen-y. Idk how to explain it. The Mccain chunky beer batter chips are my go-to oven chips.

Anyone used an air fryer to cook these? How'd it turn out?

Disclaimer - I don't have an air fryer but I'd buy one if it does chips right

Currently using a regal air fryer

    • next best thing to deep frying in oil… i love my air fryer!

Going by all these positive comments, I'm ready to buy an air fryer as I absolutely love my potato chips/gems/nuggets and my oven isn't that great. Any recommendations?

    • Air Fryers are the bomb… best thing ever… Not just chips, nuggets, dim sims, mini spring rolls, etc

      • Dumb question but do you need to use any oil?

Here is another OzBargainers' favourite Birds Eye Frozen Onion Rings also on special.

  • Had these yesterday (baked in oven) and they tasted quite nice I thought. The label said bake 25-30 mins, I would recommend 30 mins based on experience.

  • Where did the other 14% of potatoes go? That's a pretty big percentage of non-potato in potato chips.

The second best way to do these would be in the air-fryer. Soooo good.

Thank you, will pick some up for the air fryer.

The other chips that are pretty good are the Bird's Eye Deli Style chips. Almost as good as Schnitz chips.

  • Anyone know what happened to the Super Crunch version of these? It was way better but all stores stopped stocking them last year.
